100%. one of my best friends developed cancer a few years ago when we were 13 and now they're doing brilliantly and it makes me so happy to see them just living their life now.
I agree. I just recently found out I'm in remission from stage 3 cervical cancer, and I absolutely love Jacob's videos. I relate to them on another level, and it makes me see the light side of a very dark time in my life.

Love the awareness you’re bringing to brain cancer, Jacob! My sister had a grade II tumor and went into remission 4 years ago earlier this month. Our good friend also had a brain tumor, but wasn’t as lucky and passed away last September. Brain cancer is seriously one of the best and worst things to have affected my family/friends. It makes your bonds tighter, but at the cost of causing so much pain. I’m glad others can look up to you for inspiration and relatability.

Ouch this video really, really hit home for me. Watching your journey this past year has been so inspiring and your positive outlook has really kept me going through my own struggles. Last year I was diagnosed with Pseudotumor Cerebri, which is a rare disorder mimicking a brain tumor so your journey including the symptoms and some treatments have been almost identical and relatable to my own experiences. It’s amazing to see you’ve had so much support from your friends and loved ones, that’s what got to me the most I think as I don’t have that and I’ve been very alone. It sucks going through this during the lockdown year and so young (i’m also in my 20s). Thank you for everything you’ve produced for us this year man we appreciate it more than you know

I absolutely adore you. And Kurtis Conner. My brother had brain cancer and passed away when I was 13. He had his right frontal lobe removed when I was in 4th grade and the doctor said, "Good news is it doesn't spread anywhere else, bad news is it always comes back." I hope you don't have the same kind (I know nothing about specifics) but just know you are very loved, by people who don't even really know you and I sincerely wish you the absolute best.
I’m so late to this, but this just reminds me so much of how my mom would take care of my dad when he became paralyzed from a stroke. I’m so happy that you have so many people who have been there for you throughout this whole thing. Also, only cool kids get brain surgery, and that’s a fact. Both my dad and I did. No epic tumor moments, but brain hernias be hittin different.
I'm glad you're able to joke about this, I can't imagine the struggle of being diagnosed with cancer. It's hard to find the good in something like brain cancer, but being able to look at your journey, and seeing the hard parts as something good, because it helped, is so important in dealing with illness and/or trauma

My dad was diagnosed with brain cancer 2/19/19 and passed away 5/25/20. He went through a lot of the same stuff you did.
