Ahhhh Pendle Hill is the view from my front window, then you drove thru Newton (where the pub my son used to manage is) on the way to Dunsop Bridge and the Trough of Bowland. All on my doorstep! Gutted I didnt see you passing thru. Lancaster 1/2 hour further down that rd you're parked up on and then the coast. We've a very beautiful corner of the world to enjoy, so pleased you liked it!

That place you are at, next to the river,its OK to stop overnight but they don't like you parking on the grass.

The place you stopped at for the night usually in the summer has a great burger van there and is very busy. Lovely spot.
Great video, me and my wife camped in that spot 5yrs ago, the memorial to the Airmen is for a plane that crashed in that area, very sad.

If you had carried on through Dunsop bridge you would have arrived at Stocks reservoir, plenty of park ups there .
Might have seen a few on park4night was an option I was looking at I think , so chuffed with the area though some great spots

I walked to the top of Pendle hill shortly after having C-19 . It nearly killed me but the view was worth it.

Great video around Pendle with so many stories from the past. You found a great spot by the river for a stealth camp what a great place to chill out sat by the river. The drone footage was really good it's always good to see the area from above. Stay safe and stealthy and have a great one.

Iam lucky to live in the shadow of Pendle Hill. I also drive around the area doing deliveries. I know exactly where everything was. You need to come back there is plenty more to see around the area.
If it had been a clear day they say you can see Blackpool Tower from the top I've never seen a clear day up pendle tho 😂

What a beautiful spot to stop over by the river.. Beautiful hike with stunning views, good food, what more could one ask for. I'm going on a trip this week to an offgrid cabin/shack in the middle of a woodland.. Should be fun. 😂 Apparently there are beautiful hikes and waterfalls which should be pretty nice. I would have had some HP fruity sauce on that. I looked on Google earth but couldn't find that Trig point if that's what it was, great scenery all over.
Adam ogden reservoir is a beautiful walk round , you need to go walk up dovestones in Saddleworth 😊 I'm from Yorkshire we have beautiful countryside 😊

shit pal, I've had a ear infection for nearly 7 months, I've had 4 courses of antibiotics only this week they've pushed my to go to hospital, ear nose and throat, I've been rushed for an emergency brain scan tomoz, a little worried if honest, i feels like absess and a numb throbbing pain around me head but my ear is clear, hence the scan ....just be careful pal!
