    Holy smokes that start was amazing! I've never seen ruins so lucky either: turn 1 population, turn 5 spearman with immediate tribute, and turn 8 free tech FOR YOUR LUXURIES!

    Filthy, I just started watching your videos, I'm late to the civ games but you're the man, thoroughly enjoy everything you've done and all you're doing, great job bro, can't say enough nice things about you

    This game showed me the strength of the Tribute Train! I'd been dubious about it because most of the time I'm playing vs. AI and their initial army scores are so much better than human players, so extracting any tribute is pretty damn hard. Now I can see how good it'll be in multiplayer.

    I just found out how good the inca where from your civilization tier list and deciced to play them. I've got one crazy city with nothing but mountains and desert hills. It's my second city because i knew that's where i wanted Petra and wanted to rush it. Well with desert folklore, Petra, construction and fertilizer that city now works about 13 tiles with 4- 8! food, 3 hammers and 1 faith each. I have to get all the specialist buildings over there just so it doesn't grow too quickly. The best tile is a dead end desert hill surrounded by 5 mountains. so foodwise: 6 from terrace, 1 from fertilizer and 1 from Petra. Production 2 from hill, 1 from Petra, And a faith. 8 food, 3 producation, 1 faith. BEST FUCKING TILE i've ever seen. And i've got the hanging gardens over there mostly for the gardens which i couldn't get there otherwise so it can generate even crazier amounts of great people. Such a strong city for land which would otherwise be completely worthless. Absolutely crazy strong civilization if you spawn on the right land

      +frisianmouve Super fun to play when that happens, right?

      haha guess you never saw Spain settle great barrier then... ^_^ i managed once after somehow receiving Uluru (4 food 12 faith-20 with one with nature) at my start spot to also snatch Great Barrier just about 2 city spots away....4 food, 2 prod, 3 gold, 4 science and 8 faith X2 XD needless to say i just snowballed into victory! easy tech lead, guaranteed monstrous religion and very rapid expansion due to 3x first discovery gold = 3 free settlers! but i do agree Inca is crazy strong with growth if you get good hill/mountain land

      @@DiscusvissenRocken Alright, best tile barring Spanish natural wonders then. That city was still better than a Spanish wonder city though as 13 super tier tiles > 1-2 god tier tiles. I think I played the Spanish one time since then, but I don't like that it's so luck based, god tier if you find and settle a natural wonder first, otherwise pretty garbage.

    • @DiscusvissenRocken

      @@frisianmouve yeah, without a wonder Spain is bad but yeah...if you DO manage to get good ones like King Solomons, Lake Victoria or Great Barrier it is just insane how good those wonder tiles will be, especially if you have the one with nature pantheon as well. 12 production solomons? go spam wonders in said city ^_^. 12 food lake victoria? YES PLEASE!! 2x hanging gardens in one tile! and 8 faith on top of that if you get one with nature. i do agree Inca can also get crazy good food tiles if you get a good chunk of mountain+hill land but it does not beat spain with the good natural wonders under it's control. sure it beats grand mesa or barringer spain but deffo never will equal a spanish lake victoria

      @@DiscusvissenRockenlate comment but Spanish lake Victoria is twelve food guaranteed, with faith not guaranteed. Two super Inca desert hills as described by the parent comment beats that immediately. So.

    If you take a city state and build a wonder there, if it is liberated does the cs get it?

    • @andrewwagner4184
      @andrewwagner4184 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yes, but the CS doesn't get benefits from a lot of wonders so you likely won't notice

      Did you seriously watch a video from 10 years ago and insult someone for it today? you're probably one of those people who calls for someone to be cancelled for a twitter comment a decade ago.
