Interesting concept, I'll look into it
@@patrioticbritishmapper8352Hello can you make a video of what if Irish Revolution never happened?
@@shavayconnell1437 Sure
@@patrioticbritishmapper8352can you make what if Napolean never rose to power (French Revolution still happens but Napolean doesn’t end it)
Or what if Napoleon didn't go into russia@@dblum
you managed to make the south africa ran by mandela seem good in comparison well done my dude
Shocking how quick South African politics deteriorated
Well he was objectively the best chance of Africa to prevent civil war and the last South African leader that actually did more than just blame the white
Ooooh this’ll be interesting. New scenario idea I had: “What if Charles J. Bonaparte (Jerome’s grandson, founded the FBI and was Secretary of the Navy as well as Attorney General) became President of the United States?”
The idea I had was for him to be William H. Taft’s VP 1908-1912, then run as a Republican in 1916 against Wilson. But if you could think of a better scenario I’d be all for it.
Wait, is this guy a relative of Napoleon? This would certainly be interesting
@@patrioticbritishmapper8352 Yes. He is the grandson of Napoleon’s youngest brother, part of the American Bonaparte branch. And probably the most politically ambitious of them all
I'll look into him, he sounds like he could be a very interesting "what if"
In a few years you are probably going to add sooner in the title
If the ANC or EFF win this years election I probably will
I like this video alot, but you should really work on your maps.
Is it possible u can do a video about what if Rhodesia joined south Africa
Yeah, I'll absolutely do that timeline

@@patrioticbritishmapper8352ok. Thanks for finally answering my questions and also planning to make the video for me rn lol.
Wait, I thought that Nelson Mandela already died in prison in The 1980s in our timeline. Next you're gonna be telling me that Darth Vader said: "No; *I* am your Father." and not: "Luke, I am your Father.", or that The Monopoly Man never wore a monocle or that it's 'Looney Tunes' and not 'Looney Toons'.
The Mandela effect in a nutshell lol

I wouldn't be surprised either

As a saffer its neat we didn't have a Yugoslavia type breakup but instead we have this slow decline. Guess that quote really was true
Nice to see another one of your videos. Could you do a "What if Dogger Bank lead to Great Britain joining the Russo-Japanese War?"
Thanks, and sure I can make that timeline.
@@patrioticbritishmapper8352 Yay! Can't wait!
What if Portugal won the “Ultramar” war (translating into Overseas War) , more commonly known in the west as the Portuguese colonial war, or Atleast managed to prevent the 1974 Carnation revolution, considering the Portuguese military had landed a series of successful military off offensives in Angola, and even managed to cause a civil war within the Angolan separatist forces, having the UNITA faction (The largest right wing independence army) switch allegiances and actively contribute to the portuguese campaign, infact, the carnation revolution was caused by the fact that military officers and NCOs were angry as they saw their wages as quite low considering the amount of success in the Angolan campaign, not to mention that, with the Portuguese victory in the colonial war, Rhodesia wouldnt be completely surrounded by hostile nations, and infact share their entire eastern border with a de facto friendly nation, so its quite clear that African politics would be impacted ALOT, and i think its a video worthy scenario
I agree, it would've had a massive impact on the politics of the Southern African region and it's definitely video worthy.
Can you do "what if my dad never left?"

What if the United States of Latin Africa had been formed in the 1960s ?

@@patrioticbritishmapper8352 Yes, this includes Chad, Cameroon, the Central African Republic, the two Congos, Rwanda, Burundi, Angola, Gabon and Equatorial Guinea. I don't know if this scenario is realistic, but I would be interested to see how this country (which almost existed) would cope.

Hey would Cape Town lose water because in our timeline there’s was situation in mid 2018 in which Cape Town would be completely out of water with the city calling it Day Zero I wondering if that would happen and if Cape Town would actually completely run out of water in this timeline
I get the impression that there'd probably still be a drought as in otl, and some level of water crisis but not to the level that it was in our world, largely due to the fact that there would be no uncooperative relationship between the provincial government and the local government like there was in our world, the fact that due to the Cape being a separate nation its unlikely that you'd have seen the large scale immigration from the Eastern Cape into Cape Town that happened in our world (the population of the city nearly doubled in 20 years in our world) and the fact that the Cape government in this timeline would almost certainly have very good relations with Israel, a country that is a world leader in water desalination.

So... DA the main opposition party in the Cape Republic? And what about panafrican congress? Is it relevant in Azania or not like IRL? And ACDP still exist? If yes, where?
I'd say the DA (or a party like it would be the main opposition in the Cape, along with maybe a Conservative Party successor as the small third party. The Pan African Congress probably gets pushed to the side like in otl though they might have slightly more seats, emphasis on slightly. I could see the ACDP still existing, they could be in either Azania or the Cape, as its possible that their platform might be more tolerable to the National Party in the Cape than say the ANC. I'm debating what sort of opposition there'd be in Azania, what do you think?
@@patrioticbritishmapper8352 I'd imegin that the EFF would be the main opposition party, especially if the ANC becomes more neo-liberal and less extreme.
@@Lukov17 I doubt the ANC would go neo-liberal, but even if they simply carry on as they have in our world I'd agree, the EFF would probably be the main opposition as if there were a DA party in Azania it wouldn't really have a stronghold aside from perhaps some of the big cities in Gauteng.

What if Vietnam was still divided?
I do have a question. Wouldn’t the South Africas old government used its nuke on the rebels in order to keep control? Since Klerk never became president in this timeline, that would mean South Africa wouldn’t dismantle its nuclear weapons. So would the Cape have nuclear weapons or would they have dismantled it after the civil war?
I doubt they'd nuke their own country, plus it probably wouldn't help the international situation. I could totally see the government getting rid of the nukes just before the UN intervenes, probably on a "we can't let these fall into the hands of the ANC" basis.

idk the "azania has energy crisis and economy is now dead and its an unstable failed state" seems out of nowhere, it was basically the world's new south africa being way more accepted as a true successor state and invested in than cape
Azania is pretty much entirely based on the South Africa of our world, everything that happened to OTL South Africa happens to Azania, only difference is this time it has no Durban, no Cape Town and at best only half of the people with economic skills and training that it had in our world, hence the prediction is entirely reasonable. In fact the sudden jolt from "alright" to "disaster" is pretty much what has happened to South Africa in real life.
Exactly what he said, South Africa has these exact problems right now, imagine if you amplified those issues.
What if the Sino-Soviet Split Didn't Happen?

Why did you have to give the cape republic the racist flag
That's not a racist flag, it's the Afrikaner volksfront flag, which is basically the Transvaal flag just with orange instead of red. Had I given them the AWB flag then it would be been racist, but I didn't. Remember this is a Cape run by the National Party, not the modern proposal for a Cape Republic based on the Western Cape, hence I used a flag that resembled those used by the NP. Let me re-iterate, that flag is not racist.
@@patrioticbritishmapper8352 that flag is used by those who want apartheid back, mostly in the town of orania. The cape independence flag would have made more since
@@OceanChannelProductions As I said this Cape isn't associated with the Cape Republic proposed by the likes of Capexit and The Referendum Party, this version of the Cape is one that is still run by the Afrikaner Nationalist NP, hence the flag makes complete sense. So no the current Cape Republic flag would not make more sense. Orania has it's own flag actually, and it looks nothing like that one.
