Just wanted to comment to thank you for your videos and tips, always got lower back pain from bucking firewood, but after getting a 30in bar for my saw I did a whole weekends worth of cutting and still haven't felt a bit of pain. Thank you!

This is nothing against Billy Ray and I know this has nothing to do with this video, but I put in a order for a pair of Nicks boots and told them I wanted the big eyelets at the top. They emailed me back and said they would have to do a collaboration boot with Buckin Billy Ray to put those eyelets in there and that his was a one a kind “influencer” pair made just for him. That’s kind of a slap in the face to me. It’s not good enough to be a hard working individual paying hard earned money for “custom” boots but can’t get a simple option like that because I’m not an “Influencer” with a following!
That’s ass, Pasquales in toledo ohio is a small boot repair place and does it for 2$ a eyelet and will have it done in less then 10 min, they are the place, it’s unfortunate they aren’t bigger
You can get the eyelets and setters in a kit from places like hobby lobby. Just do it yourself if they're gonna be prude about it. That's bs and shouldn't even be an issue with a company like theirs.

That saw should be impressive. Where I am I would be cutting that wood with a 50cc 18" bar. It is soft wood. No real need for a big 80-90cc saw with long bar cutting small wood. Just me. But I love your felling videos. I learn alot from watching those. TY

i used to be worried about kickback a lot until i got a chain that’s like anti-kickback with them extra rakers. after that i understood why foresters and woodsmen like rapid cut chains better 😑😑😑 they’re so annoying to file, never again. i’d rather use rapid cuts and be more careful after all that

I’ve watched a bunch of your vids and was wondering if I can ask a dumb question. I’ve been a sawyer for brushing contracts and I’ve started to file my rakers down below the teeth and was wondering if that’s suitable for cutting through hardwood that’s 1” to 12” in diameter. Some of the guys are still faster than me at cutting. We’re always competitive out in the bush and always like to show off our production to our clients. Wish I could learn more faster. Such as rakers and angles of teeth. So forth.
Nobody ever mentions: 3 THINGS--- 1&2 LONGEVITY, FUEL CONSUMPTION! Not per hour, but gpw-only fair way, IE: a test with a tuned saw vs. STOCK saw, MEASURING the amount of wood cut to the amount fuel used to time between re-ring & time before re- builds. FYI, - An 80cc motocross bike can make between 15 HP - 18HP!! maybe more but I'M pretty sure it would not last nearly as long as a STOCK chainsaw engine. Comments??? Please! So naturally, the question is- with the state of the art metallurgy and engineering- where do mods move the bar between engineered longevity VS power? Long term test needed! COMMENTS? AND... 3) . IF: You were to cut 100 rounds in a day, and saved 2seconds per round, thats only 3.3 minutes. If barely 4 seconds each, thats 6 minutes in a DAY. Now- SATISFACTION from running a perfectly suped up saw, CAN'T BE MEASURED!! And holds lots of joy! But all the other stuff.... CAN BE. Please share your thoughts, i wanna know.
