for me the Ys on PC engine CD-rom was the real director cut of this game especialy the fourth and the third opus everything is perfect !!! i have all those game on the real japanese cd-rom amazing series.

I love this soundtrack. It has some jazzy stuff in it that I like a lot. Overall I like it better than Ys III and nearly as much as I&II.

It's definitely better than Ys III, as the music in Ys IV is more atmospheric and epic. It's up there with the likes of YS 1 and 2.

Not as good as Ys I & II or the absolutely fantastic Ys III soundtrack but still great music.
