Great vid nice tip about the sandeels aswell will be trying it 👍
Thanks Jamie. Definitely seems to lock that eel in place better and results in fewer missed fish. 👍
Nice day out.. thanks for that.
Thanks for watching Paul 👍
Thanks for the tips good stuff
You are very welcome, thanks for watching! 👍
Still the best on youtube
You’re very kind Chris, thank you mate 👍
Another good video, tell me is the rod that you are using suitable for multipliers and fixed spools ? As I use both
Thanks for your comment.
These modern Alconite guides are pretty tolerant of fixed spool reels so should be no problems whatsoever. 👍
Went there last week, only ray i found was ray mears on the 2 hour trek
Haha, yes even Ray would find this place challenging!! 😆👍
Great video Ben , just wondering do you use the same set up for blondes and undulate ray ,or do you step up a reel size? Thanks
Thanks David. I tend to use the same 7ht reels with the same .30mm line for all of my clean beach raying. The only time I switch up to a 20 size multiplier is if I’m rock fishing for them with .40mm lines. 👍
What is that spike sticking out of the bait at 9:51 ?
It’s a baiting needle, much easier to elasticate the sandeel bait using it. Probably made it easier for Ben to show us the bait too!
Exactly that Paul, much easier than having my sausage fingers all over it!! 😊👍
Lovely video Ben. What rod rest do you use?
@ Thanks Phil! The rest is an Ian Golds Super Match 5 foot version. 👍
