Thanks for the demo. My 2018 S450 has this feature but it does not seem to be at all reliable. It misses most obvious spaces, even though they fit the criteria of having parked cars on either side. Today it actually identified a space where there wasn't one and proceeded start self-parking maneuvers. It ended up lightly bumping another parked vehicle before I realized there wasn't even an available space and took over. There is either something wrong with my car or Mercedes should never have released this system.

@@rickywoods3101 yeah ive tried it you can override it if you get uncomfortable but the car will detect if you're close so its pretty much impossible to ding your car ;)

Anyone can pull *straight* *in* to a parking space! How about showing how Parking Assist does parallel parking? That's what people have a hard time with.

Peccato che MB abbia disattivato anche l'Active Park Assist (con conducente a bordo) su tutta la gamma vetture immatricolate in Italia e anche in altri Paesi Europei da Settembre 2020.

Too bad that MB has deactivated Active Park Assist (with driver on board) on the entire range of cars registered in Italy and also in other European countries since September 2020.
