Emmanuel is Nigerian and his parents were Nigerian immigrants. So his experience is not one of an African American. Therefore he is not the right person for this conversation. His ancestors were not enslaved and tortured in this country.
Emmanuel Acho was born in America, raised in America, played for the TX Longhorns and the Cleveland Browns - he is as American as any American. His people came from Africa, and his culture suffered the painful history that America inflicted upon those people. Do you think he escaped oppression because he looked like other people whose ancestors were enslaved? He grew up in Dallas . Do you have any idea how awfully black folks have been traditionally treated in hardcore Texas? Probably not, or you would not be posting crap like this.

Agreed. It is not a binary question. Both Hamas and the IDF are doing acts of evil. There are many, many, Jews who are taking part in, and in some places leading, the current unrest on collage campuses. There are also active demonstrations in Israel against the horrors going on in Gaza.
The word "antisemitism" and its derivatives have become prone to a phenomenon linguists would call "semantic bleaching". Would Noam Chomsky be antisemitic because he roundly criticizes Israel? The whole thing is in danger of collapsing like a house of cards.

Israel literally has a settlement policy. Taking land to expand.
The aggressive settlement land grab by the Israeli government is unfortunately exacerbating the conflict in the region, however, it should be worth noting that the land was under British control until 1947. Also it is not so much colonialism in the sense that Jewish people were the native peoples of that land in 931BCE because they were the kingdoms of Samaria and Judah - which is quite different in history to the European colonialism wherein Europeans systematically occupied land throughout the world, in Africa, Asia, and the Americas. Given that we all live in the modern world - a post-colonial world - I believe claims to land or attachments to land is irrelevant in the context of the world. In other words, if you are not an indigenous North American living in Florida and the Seminole nation wanted to take over your land because they have a “legitimate” claim to it, by your logic they have the right to take it in efforts of being anti-colonialist. We live in the real world - that would be against the law. If Seminole nation began barraging Miami with rockets, the national guard would have to come in and eliminate the perpetrators by any means necessary. Lookup the American Indian Wars. In North America, basically everyone lives on stolen land.
So why is it okay for us to live there, but not Israel?
As a Christian, Jerusalem belongs to Israel period, but as a Christian we can absolutely criticize Israel (without being antisemitic)..

As a Black, Christian who grew up in a small prodominatelly Jewish town, I did not experiemce racism and did not ever think about hating my Jewish classmates! I learned from Yeshua/Jeasus to truly love and treat your neighbor as yourself as a child! Having visited Isreal, especially being in the tunnel with a tour guude, it became clear to me seeing the stone from several kingdoms, that Isreal belongs to Isreal. England messed up its history and land, as well as other religions and other cultures in history. People need to be educated about the history of Israel based on the Holy Bible. Some Jews also participated in the Civil Rights struggles - knowing about slavery, bondage and genocide of 6 million Jews. Thank you trying to educate people.

And they did the same for the Apartheid South Africa regimes against the Anti Apartheid movement and even tried to convince Apartheid South Africa to hold on to minority rule and apartheid indefinitely.
Meanwhile, Palestinians and Palestinian groups such as the PL0 and Fatah supported both the African American Civil Rights and African Anti Apartheid movements, providing funding, military and guerilla teaining, weapons, education, refuge etc to both movements.

I had my DNA tested. I am 100% Ashkenazi Jewish. I'm from an ancient Hebrew tribe. You can't test DNA on a religion, just an ethnicity.
You confuse Judaism, which is the religion of the Jewish people with being Jewish. Jews originated from a tribal culture. So look at Native Americans, the tribe had a distinct religion but their ethnicity was defined holistically by their language, common history, laws, and cultural practices. The same is true of the Jewish people; there are many Jews who are atheists, some who are Christians, etc. just because you don’t practice the religion does not negate you Jewishness. Many of the celebrations commemorate historical events come to the people as a whole.
