honestly, an "extra deck" of "titan-like" cards (cards with activatable abilities) that need some special ritual to be summoned (a la fusion/synchro/xyz) sounds like the next step

You could use a standardized pack to stuff 5 random taunt minions into the sandwich for cheap
This pairs great with the packs spells they added. You can add 5 minions (albeit random but still) and that’s a lot of mana cheated potentially but I think it will also depend on what other minions they are adding this expansion. Looks fun to play but the flavor is definitely weird and really goofy.
This card with the new pack cards + a masters calling to summon 5 random beasts/taunt minions and then a tundra rhino or whatever other 3 beasts in your deck is crazy

I think an interesting use for this card might be with the druid location that warrior has access to. Turn 7 play the Ryecleaver, swing, turn 8 Hiking trail, activate it, two cheap ways to gain armor, then swing and summon a giant taunt wall. Could be a swingy play on turn 8. Maybe set up the location turn 6 to give more options for the armor gain. It's a fair bit of setup but the payoff could be worth it.
photographer fizzle is interesting with the ryecleaver, either to fill up the space between the breads quickly, or getting a good minion sandwich in the snapshot
Thought so too but it makes it even more conditional since you'd have have equipped the weapon, break it and then HOOPE you draw Fizzle right after otherwise you'll be waiting a while with no minions to play until you finally draw him to then snapshot it before finally getting that tempo back. If you already have it in hand it'll get sandwiched so you can't utilize its battlecry.
Might work better with Hunter since they can make the sandwich and use Tracking to find, snapchat and play the sandwish all in one turn if they're lucky.
This seems useful for my hunter deck since my hand's often stuck with cards due to how greedy my deck is.

Does that new pirate that gets charge if it didn't start in the deck get charge with this since it disappeared in the sandwich? I feel like this is a bit too slow, but kinda fun.
Well, that 1 mana add 5 temporary taunt minions, became a nice sandwich maker

Basically 1 mana to add 5 random minions makes this weapon great
This card is excellent in warrior. WArriors never cared about throwing away a turn to win the game in the next ones. Brann at 8, Odin at 9. And Warrior is currently sweeping away duids , so a good slow card for a class that doesn't mind having a slow turn.
So do these tourist cards let you play with ANY class card or just this set specifically

Turn 6: Coin, Marin The Manager (choose Tolin's Goblet)
Turn 7: Ryecleaver, attack (by this time Azharan Sentinel should've deathrattled)
Turn 8: Obsidiansmith (choose Sunken Sentinel), Tolin's Goblet, attack, Minion Sandwich
You can also use Minion Sandwich on Turn 9, right after casting Brawl

And just like in classic WoW the great warrior weapon is actually a hunter weapon

If you are thinking about Reno Warrior dont. If Bran is active the weapon will make a empty sandwich by making 2 bread instead of one.

With a pirate deck and weapons attendant, this card could be down on turn 6 with a board.
But you miss battlecry here on a weapon

Kinda mad cause every class is getting a legendary they can kinda use when playing tourist deck but the warrior one just seems bad for hunter which is the only class I'm playing currently

I can't say this will be good or not, but I do love HS playing with digital card game only mechanics, as opposed to just repeating Magic mechanics. I appreciate whenever they do goofy mechanic shit like this

Wow, you're right. Turn 7, just deal 4 damage. That's a huge tempo loss. 🤔 Does copying the sandwich keeps the same minions...

@@michaelbowman6684 It's battlecry and deathrattle. So while it's still not good let the opponent control when the sandiwich is made, if you know they're likely to have a Viper than you can equip the weapon when you know your hand is reasonable enough for it to not matter if they activate it ahead of you.
@@mica4977 The only way to "counter" Viper is only playing the weapon when you have the mana or means to add more cards, specifically and hopefully minions, to your hand the turn to play it, something like you set up your board in advance with things -like Fairytale Forests (which aren't even good because you lose the battlecries) and Ancestral Knowledge and hope you draw some minions on turn 9, or you hold the Coin going second and play 2 Ancestral Knowledge on turn 10.- Disregard this point, I forget it was a Warrior card in the amount of time I watched this video, doy, and I was replying through the TH-cam notification system. Still need to draw cards the turn you play the weapon, though.
If you play the weapon then pass turn without playing any kind of draw, and your opponent plays Viper in response, you get a bread sandwich and spent 7 mana to deal 4 damage. At the very least, Viper will be a deterrent that will make the -Shaman- Warrior/Hunter to wait until a later turn to play the weapon as a part of a combo out of fear of the Viper their opponent traded away on turn 1. The -Shaman- Warrior/Hunter will sometimes just lose on turn 7 because they gamble "surely they don't have the Viper they traded away several turns ago, right?" and other games the -Shaman- Warrior/Hunter will wait until turn 10 anyway even if there is retroactively and with hindsight no Vipers in that particular game, not even randomly generated ones.
If the card ends up being very good and -Shaman- Warrior/Hunter ends up being like a tier 2 deck, people will start running Viper even if it makes their deck worse in every other matchup, weapons tend to be very swingy cards that people won't like playing against, if the playrate of Kobold Stickyfinger in Wild is anything to go by.
@@michaelbowman6684you're thinking of it completely wrong. A decent opponent will always just play it when they have a hand they deem fit. Destroying this weapon really isn't a big deal. Current warrior and hunters sit with so many big minions I their hand they have no time to play them all. Even summoning 2 big minions is a win with this considering what big minions exist now. You're just overly cynical for some reason. Just don't play the card and play your viper if you think it's such a good play. Never seen someone so mad over something they consider having advantage over
This feels like a demon hunter card that got shifted to warrior just cause.
Currently any Warrior deck that would want this can’t run it because of Brann. Only Reno warrior is really seeing play to maybe slot a cool weapon in, but if you play Brann this card becomes useless (and clogs a handspace on Deathrattle).

@@shogunpug4071No, with Brann specifically, please read the comment and understand it before calling me stupid, it would go a long way to making you seem less stupid yourself :). Brann will give you two slices on Battlecry, which will form an empty sandwich, and the deathrattle one will never be able to form a sandwich (save for double deathrattle effects).
If you play the weapon after Bran, you can roleplay as British student and have a toast sandwich.

@@HDGaminTutorials not really. Unless randomly generated or made cheaper it's still a 7 mana card, and you need mana to to draw/generate minions in your hand afterward. So if you play weapon on turn 7 and your opponent plays weapon removal, you get a 2-mana sandwich that does nothing. Kinda like a store bought 2-dollar sandwich...
If you play it on later turns than your opponent really should already have mana and cards in hand to deal with the minions spawned, alternately have killed you already.
In my opinion the weapon is bad right now. There ain't enough good support for it, it won't fit in a Brann deck and it sucks that this is taking up a legendary slot in this expansion. I would hate getting this on our first day.
Very fun, very nice design. Horrendously weak and will see 0 play. Sad.

This expansion honestly is not doing it for me from what I have seen. Last expansion just made the meta game boring imo. I fear this is also gonna do the same, if not make it worse. Look I was fine with wizbang theme being more light hearted, but having another really goofy expansion after is a little too much for me. I think the art is good looking and there are some cool sounding designs but I don't know seems meh to me

This will never see play at long as rust rot viper exists unless warrior gets a way to manipulate it's hand.
The new location that lets you discover taunts+refresh on armor gain.
You can get atleast 3 taunts in there, which, is pretty cool for 2 mana, even if it's not perfect.

I personally don't think the viper is that bad if your deck is built around the weapon in particular because Warrior has other weapons that'd be worth destroying earlier in the game. You'll still get the sandwich so just play it when you know your hand is worth sandwiching if they've yet to viper & if they didn't have weapon removal then you may get even extra use out of it.

I think they have gone off the deep end with goofy cards. at least 2 expansions in a row that were just jokes.
looks awful to me. Way too much set up for far too little payoff, plus a deck type requirement that works against itself. For this to work, you want both big minions, a good amount of draw, and not many battlecry minions. Also the recent Brann warrior card wouldn't work with his. You just end up with 1 piece of limp bread, because the first two immediately make a sandwich with Nothing in it, as they both come out at the same time from the doubled battlecry.
I don't understand how this works...equip the weapon, swing, play minions, swing, sandwich then PAY 2 MANA TO RESUMMON MINIONS YOU ALREADY HAD ON BOARD (??)
