beginner skateboarder here. just so you know you’re supposed to push with your back foot and keep your front foot on. the way you were pushing was opposite and called mongo. you can do it that way but it will make things harder than necessary. hope this helps! 🌸
Hi love! 🤗 and ahh yes I’ve tried it, my balance when I did it that way was not well😂 I skate goofy haha but I’m definitely still trying to push with my back foot to get more stable☺️ do you by any chance have any recommendations for skating mongo?
Stephanie Vega if you feel more comfortable pushing mongo then do it but try every now and then to push with your back foot. don’t be ashamed about pushing mongo, I pushed mongo for like 6 months before I got comfortable pushing with my back foot

@@stephanievega1213 I think you could have a goofy foot placement instead. Try using your right foot as the forward foot instead of the usual left foot. I think the fact that you're putting your right foot in the back is why skating Mongo feels more comfortable.
@@stephanievega1213 you don't skate goofy you skate regular lol. that's when the left foot is in front and you push with your right. regular is the opposite. your friend skates regular.

I love how confident she is, I look up to her sooo much, and as I am plus size I feel sometimes down and then I look at her insta and vids and I see how beautiful she is I feel more and more confident, she helped me to find self love in myself and now I'm rocking crop tops and jeans and still being healthy and active but staying the plus size I am ❤️😣😍thank you so much 💌💞😢🙏

holy MONGGOO. been skating for years...since childhood. looks like you're regular. try putting your left foot at the front of the board..push off with your right and step on. It'll be a lot easier i promise. love you

this is so so so cute! i love seeing other girls skate, i always get so nervous being the only girl at skate parks. also, if you get bigger wheels, rocks will be less of a problem! my board has Bootleg Seismic 80a 70mm and they ride super smooth & i rarely trip over rocks :)

I didn’t have anyone to teach me either so chairs and fences helped me! I started on a Penny board and set up chairs in a row so I could use the back to grab onto if needed. On days when I was feeling more brave I would practice in my front yard and hold onto the fence to help me start off but don’t always depend on it!! It takes practice and patience but when you get the hang of it, it’s super easy and fun! Hope you can learn with your long board!
I just started and I've been watching videos. I'm in college so I'm really busy with school but in my free time I go on campus and practice there. My 12 yr old sister actually got me into it and she taught herself and is pretty good at cruising

I started longboarding about a year ago and then took it to the skateparks with my boyfriend helping me out. I will say being the only girl at skateparks with a longboard was not easy but it got fun after and sold my longboard and got a normal skateboard and still skate at skateparks yet learning. One day you girls should go at skateparks it gets more fun on ramps.
