Linkin Park is my literal childhood. My father found them pretty early and after I was born I grew up with their songs. Even though I didn't understood english at the time, I loved all the songs. I'm 21 now, almost 22 and Linkin Park still has a special place in my heart. They'll always be with me. Rest in peace Chester, you won't be forgotten.❤

I met the band at the launch of Hybrid Theory and I never left them. I couldn't go to a show but I always made a point of following everyone's trajectory. And today, after Chester's pass, it's impossible not to notice that many of the songs released expressed the constant suffering he was subjected to, and it seems that each album was a true cry for help. It's very sad. Miss u so much, dude. Stay in peace.
Oh Linkin Park, you guys got me through high school, I was bullied, called names and made to feel worthless and unwanted. People who I thought were my friends turns out they never were. Once I graduated high school those so called “friends” never spoke to me again or have ever reached out to me. I graduated in 07, it’s been 16 since and not one of them has been by my side. I still have a few friends from high school that never left and I’m grateful for those friends. I used to play Linkin Park on my Walkman late at night just silently screaming at the ceiling, wanting their approval and friendship. As I’ve gotten older, I realized that those friends who left weren’t meant to be my friends.
