Secondly, Most Shias, don’t consider Ali (RA) divine. Yes he is divinely appointed but not a divine entity himself. Saying “Ya Ali Madad” is a way of asking for intercession, not worshipping him-just like some Sunnis say “Ya Rasulullah” for blessings. Shirk is used for someone who considers an entity equal to God and worships that entity which is far from the twelver shia belief.
