My whole life I thought Super Mario Bros Z writer Mark Haynes created the Axem Rangers, not knowing that he only created the sprites he used for the show. I really need to get this game
Geno is owned by Square, if Nintendo tried to use him they could be sued for copyright infringement. Personally I want Smithy to return, with a backstory or even as a minor villain with his creator being the main villain.

With Cloud and Sephiroth in Smash 5, it's not like Nintendo and Square are on bad terms or anything. SMRPG is one of my favorite games of all time, but honestly I've kinda just come to terms with the fact that it's very niche in 2022. I don't think the demand is actually as high as those of us who love this game would like to believe. Still, one can dream. If they do decide to go somewhere with the series, I highly doubt Square will refuse to work with them on it though. The ideal scenario imo would be a new SMPRG built with Square's HD-2D engine, a la Octopath/Triangle Strategy.

She can be defeated very easily with physical attacks. Axem Black - This is the second that should be defeated, since he is quite powerful and attacks twice in a row. If Mallow is present in your party, he can use Shocker to cause good damage. Axem Green - This is the third that should be defeated, since he has powerful magical attacks. However, can be easily defeated with physical attacks. Axem Yellow - Also quite powerful. Mario's Super Jump will be very effective against it. Axem Red - This is probably the weakest. Blade - Has the very powerful Breaker Beam, but thankfully it will only use every two turns. Mallow's Shocker will be very effective against it.

I've always loved the part at the very beginning of the video. It's like you're about to get the star, then it goes into the song "Here's some Weapons" which is bad-ass.
*Warning spoilers ahead read at own risk* Just to let all of you know, if you don't beat the red guy last, he says “ohh my head is spinning”. For those of you wondering why you take out the pink one first, well two reasons why, first she know petal blast that turns all your characters into mushrooms, and can heal with mega heal plus she has the lowest HP, and F.Y.I, when you get the lazy shell armor DON'T give it to Toadstool for this fight, as it reduces her magic offence, which is why she was only healing by 96% with her group hug move, the shell fits any character but seriously lowers speed, and magic offence by a whole lot (it is a giant shell after all), so if you think Bowser is slow normally, check out his stats after equipping him with the lazy shell armor. (Bypass this with the feather you get from Dodo in Nimbus land as it increases speed by 20%)
There's an evil power rangers team that became good, except for the green ranger, in the comics (this comic takes place some time after "Forever Red").
Axem Red: "Why won't you die?" Toadstool: "Lazy Shell Armor, son! Completely maximizes my defense, so I only take minor damage from any attack! You can't kill me, Jack!"
some dude in the 2000s said "hey let's put these guys heads on megaman x characters and make them fight mario with a team consisting of luigi, yoshi, sonic the hedgehog, and shadow the hedgehog" and i thank him for that
I remember this game. Mario was my balanced character, Geno my powerhouse, Bowser my defense, Mallow my mega attack/defense, and Peach my healer. For this battle, I had Mallow, Geno, and Mario. Geno and Mario did the attacking while Mallow handled healing and group attacks. During one play through, I used Star Rain and took out both Pink and Green. I killed Pink first, Green second, Black third, Yellow fourth, and Red last.
Def always go after Pink first. Took getting wiped out the first time against them to realize she was the healer. 2nd time on, always took out Pink first. The rest I changed up. Def one of the best/funniest battles in the game. 👏
....oh yaaaa.....I'm ganna be facing these 5 again when the remake comes out this november......oh boy.....ya they gave me such a hard time my first time back in the day, how about you all?

This is the battle I got stuck on. I think I went too fast in the game. That, and I could never figure out Geno and Mallow's attacks, or the ones with the "rotating control pad". Those never worked for me.
Man you made this fight look like a joke. When I was a kid this was the fight that gave me more trouble than any other in the game. I always would go Pink > Black > Green > Yellow > Red just like you too yet I would die constantly to them. Although I usually used Bowser in place of Princess with Geno/Mario maybe that was part of it. But yeah Axem Rangers man. Loved that fight as chaotic as it was for me.
