Noticed you have some scenes from my AI films as reference images. That made my day. :) As a long time Photoshop user, I'd be interested in seeing a comparison between Midjourney's new features and Photoshop's Generative Fill. Looks to me like Midjourney's results are much better and Adobe is in big trouble.
I haven't really been let down yet by Adobe's new features. Why does everything have to be exclusionary? I use many different tools and I like them all.
@@JohnVanderbeck I'm not exclusionary. I use everything I can get my hands on. I just don't think Firefly is very good at generating new content when compared with Midjourney or Flux. The reason it's not as good is because Firefly was trained only on Adobe Stock images, so everything you generate with it looks like a generic stock photo.
@@Retro_Movie_Rewind Yes and for very good reason. It allows Adobe to extend a proper license to the generative images that I can use worry free commercially. You can't do that with Midjourney.
@@JohnVanderbeck I like this comment, I definitely agree, we can't really wipe out photoshop, but this AI somehow does continue to give power to people who don't have the ability or skills to manually operate a photo manipulating software, AI still sucks with text, so thats that, but literally people have to be idiots not to make or create anything decent today.
I think Photoshop will continue to be the top overall image editor for quite a while, but I've never been impressed with Adobe Firefly for generating new content. My dream would be for Midjourney to create a Photoshop plugin. If Magnific has one, why can't Midjourney?
I loving this feature, testing it out on some of the FLUX images that I created that I felt where a bit cropped. Testing it last night the AI moderation needs a little more work, it seemed a bit heavy handed it was flagging images that had no nudity nor where sensual.
Hii please among all the video-generating AIs available, which one would you recommend for creating effective ads to promote brands or products? I’m looking for an honest opinion.
Ones question. Many many times when using the Midjourney editor it is not working because it says that the AI moderatos does not agree etc and i am asking for really simple things, not for adults, not blood etc. How can I fix this? Other times I as for a littel change like ear rings etc and its doing absolutely nothing :(. Any hint?
Moderation is extremely conservative at the moment. There isn’t a shortcut to pass that unfortunately. Maybe after elections they will ease it a bit (they’re afraid of misinformation I guess)
If it’s only available to users 10,000 illustrations I don’t know what mid journey is hoping to accomplish by telling people they can’t use their product. Just doesn’t make sense.
This is such a powerful tool they're releasing it slowly. They want to moderate it and they don't want it abused. I wouldn't be surprised if they would prefer to wait until after the election before releasing it more to avoid people using it to create propaganda
My guess is that it’s starting off with people who most likely use it the most, then it will be accessible to more people later on down the line. Either that or they made the number so high, so no one can just willy-nilly have access to an image editor and start making fake images for misinformation.
Adobe Firefly has a similar feature to Midjourney’s Re-texture which preserves the structure of the original image when re-imagining however Adobe’s AI model is still far behind because it creates ugly distorted images especially for subjects.
Its a shame MJ arent going down the photoshop route. They could totally poach a lot of users but they are never thinking like adobe devs. Ive been on photoshop 30 years. The defo need layers and transparency. And stop making the images change. I wanted to change a character i had from holding a knife to lightsaber. It changed the picture... they need to pack that in, its useless in most cases.
What are your thoughts on Midjourney's latest update? Do you plan to incorporate it into your workflow? Which AI Image Generator is the best?
Hi 👋
Hi 👋🏼
Noticed you have some scenes from my AI films as reference images. That made my day. :)

@@JohnVanderbeck Yes I get the idea behind it, but unfortunately it also means the results are not as good. But the choice is there.

Need to try this for ecom product photography 👍
I need to test it more. Usually for editing I use Photoshop and new Ideogram Canva features.

Yes they’re at the moment alarmed about fake content so moderation is pretty conservative
Very helpful! Thank you!
💚
Great!! Thanks!!

Great video!

what about using your logo as a reference image?
Huh I just tried this and it refuses to allow --p or --personalize and in the settings the personalize option is also disabled :(
I hear you can give me a black line art illustration and it will color it in for you. What would be the prompt for something like that?

@cyberjungle Is the style reference you entered the seed number of the image you found?
Style reference code. (sref code) It’s not seed number.
The ideogram has the same function and works better with text.
I will certainly make a video about Ideogram Canvas
This is absolutely wild... as a photographer... this is scary but also unlocks so many different things.
The problem is my bank account :P

Was thinking the same

Yea. It'll be rolled out later on.
Do we know if stealth mode applies to this or not?
All images created with the new Edit are private.
That outpainting had a pretty bad seam on it :(
Sadly you must have an annual membership just to access the edit option.

this is a ploy for them to get more training data
For better text, use double quotation marks e.g. "I Love Poop"

AI is still figuring out how to replace the Photoshopper.
@cyberjungle It's about time you launched your own tool to generate midjourney prompts and a complete midjourney course dear friend!
❤
Good
