    Great review Scott... I haven't heard anything bad about the quality of their bows Thanks and God bless!

      Thank you brother. I appreciate your time. The quality is definitely there with this one. The limb tip doesn’t seem to cause an issue when shooting. Overall great bow and would be great for anyone wanting to get into the sport.
      I appreciate your time my friend. God bless

    Hi Scott, I have that Sanlida bow and like it a lot, shoot it daily and it shoots well. My string alignment is centered and comfortably sits well in the groove. I also have the Black Hunters in recurve and longbow. On the BH longbow the limb tips are very narrow and the string loop sits right on the edge (much closer than the X9 you have) of the pocket and it would seem it might slip off but hasn't. Anyway, the first thing I do is take a 1/8" dowel or drill rod, wrap Wet or Dry paper of about 320 or 400 grit and smooth out the limb pockets carefully. Oh BTW, I can't use the quiver either, being up in age especially, I just can't reach back too far...haha.

      Thank you for the comment and your time my friend. I’ve owned the black hunter recurve in the past but gifted it to someone. I felt cramped shooting it for some reason. Overall a good bow none the less.
      I toyed with the idea of cleaning up the string groove but I am always fearful of damaging that area of the limb. I can see where it needs to be cleaned up a bit, thankfully it’s on the front thickest part of the groove. I may try your idea and let you know how it works out. The quiver is challenging for sure. I’ll leave that to the younger shooters.
      Really appreciate your time! Have a great evening. Best regards.

    It a nice looking bow and seems to shoot really well, but I will say it does look pretty chunky. I know you love the Samick sage bow, but i myself do prefer a slimmer riser. Thank you for the review appreciate ya.
    Take care and God bless.

      Sig man thank you for the time and I appreciate your comment. It seems chunky, but it’s actually a comfortable grip. I think it’s the way it’s contoured that helps it a good bit.
      Always appreciate your time. Have a great day. God bless you my friend.

    Considering buying this bow as a starter. If i do, several videos recommended a different string, what string do you recommend? Also, do i order a 58" inch string? Thanks for your videos.

      I would look for a good endless loop string. There are so many offerings it’s hard to say on what brand to go with. The bow string should be a 55 or 56 inch string. You always ho at least 2 to 3 inches shorter than the overall length of the bow. I hope that helps. Thank you for your time and the question. Have a great evening. Best regards

    Hmm...sexy looking bow, only two things missing, proof that it can podium at at least a local event, honestly, at this point pretty close to any production bow ought to be capable of winning a weekend shoot type deal, pending archer abilities, and the second endorsement would be a dead deer with this bow laid across it, I'd be happy to bet in it's favor, but I hope they can do both of those to seal the deal

    Hi Scott, did you also test if the draw weight was correct and what do you think about the glove that cam with it?

      @ScottWinters  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hey my friend. I did not have an opportunity to check the draw weight. My scale is currently not working. As soon as I pick up a new one I will test that.
      The glove is actually nice. The padding is sufficient to protect your fingers and it is light weight and breathable.
      I appreciate you watching the video and the comment. Have a great evening. Best regards
