    Super helpful tips for me. Being a female walking into a auto shop they tend to tell you to get stuff done that may not always be needed! Thank you so much!

    At 5/32 on a sports car especially one's that have wide tires such as 245/45/20 it's pretty much time to replace them as these wide tires can't displace heavy rain quick enough.

    Hello, what is the average tire replacement cost because some shops tried to make me pay $780-$800 for tires and I thought it was a little too much

    • @amyk9813
      @amyk9813 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It depends on the tyre make/range and how many you're getting replaced :)

    • @freepalestina48
      @freepalestina48 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      best to just shop online for your tire size and have them delivered, then call tire shops around you and ask how much they charge for “mount and balance“ should be about 20-30 per tire. doing this usually saves you some money

    So is it safe to drive with tires 4/32 to 3/32 and change it once it gets to 2/32?

      He explained that there was uneven wear to the tire, could be from over inflation or under inflation, or the alignment was off

    is there a difference between 205/60R16 92H and 205/60R16 91H besides price?

    • @BlazingFaith1945
      @BlazingFaith1945 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Of course, I believe the 91 is the top speed rating. Given ideal conditions, how fast your tires can go, assuming your engine can handle it. Google it !

      H "stands for" max speed of a 210km/h and 91 and 92 are "load index" (91-615km per tyre and 92 is 625kg per tyre)

    You’ll lose traction aaaand start hydroplaning well before they are “worn”. They also dry out and perform poorly after 5 years

    You should speak with more conviction if you want people to take this seriously. Tire wear is not just a gas saving issue but a huge safety issue. People need to take it seriously
