I have sailed the river so many times from St Clair to Port Huron. lost track for boat night. The river has quite a currant plus getting up close and personal with those freighters is a forget me not experience
This looked like a lot of fun . I like how they hooked all the floats together. Im going to see if my kids want to do this, but at lake Paris in California its close to my house. Why was the water so green on the side? I would stay in the middle . Great video. Ty
The brownish green looking water is the water exiting the Black River into the St Clair River. The riverbed of the Black River is clay so it picks up the sediment and dumps it into the St Clair.
From Port Huron can confirm. The lake and town are beautiful. Lots of nice small shops. Nobody ever comes here tho because the job market is so F###ed up.
Melissa Harnden Nailpoint! Great friends of mine! I was in the band for a while during 2007-2008. I toured with them summer 2007 down to Texas and back and did a couple shows in 2008.
They have people watching, lol. Coast Guard is there, so are police boats. Doesn't mean people don't end up in Canada though. Couple years ago a lot of people did because of winds and currents.
