Rich people look at the poor with contempt, and all because they don't know God. Once we know God, we all become brothers and sisters, because the love of God is in us. I understand your talk. It’s right on track. But when are we going to stop separating us by color. For example, the white church vs the black church & the black man vs the white man. We are all Gods children. When I see my brothers and sisters I don’t see color. It’s time we see each other as one and color is exempt. Even in these discussions

I agree with the Racism going on in our world . However, being a low income single mother most of my life I have experienced racism also. I walk in to get help and a black woman also walks in to get help. The Black woman gets more assistants thenI do. I fill that is racism also . What do I do or what I did . I just had to go work harder and more jobs I have lost jobs to Black people not cause I was not a great fit for job or did better work but cause I was White and they were black. I had to just move forward . I know Blacks do have the same story’s . However, does this make me racist because I have these story’s ? The "gospel" is the gospel, no matter who preaches it. The gospel message of salvation encompasses not only spiritual matters, but everything pertaining to life and Godliness. And that would also include social injustice issues and matters relating to sin and racism. Not to mention, righteousness, justification, sanctification, confession, repentance, mercy and forgiveness.
I'm a black female and the answer is some blacks do resonate with the way white churches present the gospel. Some do not (which isn't fair, they need to better understand) as they are accustom to their own way of being preached to and worshiping God. I've seen some people snub their noses because they don't like the way the worship service goes in some white churches, it never bothered me. As a psalmist I have been called to many white churches and I am very selective with my music, not trying to be popular with a song I'm trying to reach the hearts of individuals therefore if they don't resonate with the song it's not beneficial spiritually. When you walk into another individual's place of worship you show respect,.honor God. I love how God uses us to communicate with everyone.

Excellent... I was born in a Latin American country, and I encountered so many ways of discrimination in my early years, not defined by color, but by social status. Rich people look at the poor with contempt, and all because they don't know God.
Once we know God, we all become brothers and sisters, because the love of God is in us.

I understand your talk. It’s right on track. But when are we going to stop separating us by color. For example, the white church vs the black church & the black man vs the white man. We are all Gods children. When I see my brothers and sisters I don’t see color. It’s time we see each other as one and color is exempt. Even in these discussions

That is why regardless, in the church, we need to be the light and see each other -regardless of race- as other brothers and sisters. No reform, movement, legislation, government body, etc will fix racism. Only God can by changing the heart. We aa the church need to be the example by showing love and forgiveness.

However, being a low income single mother most of my life I have experienced racism also.
I walk in to get help and a black woman also walks in to get help. The Black woman gets more assistants thenI do. I fill that is racism also . What do I do or what I did . I just had to go work harder and more jobs I have lost jobs to Black people not cause I was not a great fit for job or did better work but cause I was White and they were black. I had to just move forward . I know Blacks do have the same story’s . However, does this make me racist because I have these story’s ?

The "gospel" is the gospel, no matter who preaches it. The gospel message of salvation encompasses not only spiritual matters, but everything pertaining to life and Godliness. And that would also include social injustice issues and matters relating to sin and racism. Not to mention, righteousness, justification, sanctification, confession, repentance, mercy and forgiveness.
I'm a black female and the answer is some blacks do resonate with the way white churches present the gospel. Some do not (which isn't fair, they need to better understand) as they are accustom to their own way of being preached to and worshiping God. I've seen some people snub their noses because they don't like the way the worship service goes in some white churches, it never bothered me. As a psalmist I have been called to many white churches and I am very selective with my music, not trying to be popular with a song I'm trying to reach the hearts of individuals therefore if they don't resonate with the song it's not beneficial spiritually. When you walk into another individual's place of worship you show respect,.honor God. I love how God uses us to communicate with everyone.

I’m really appalled at what you were saying. Where is the biblical support of what you’re saying, this is so wrong to focus on racism. You’re both famous pastors if there was so much racism how could you be where you’re at. Please don’t give me another scripture verse that talks about injustice. Of course there’s injustices! we live in a sinful world let’s go back to the sound doctrine of the word of God. Our battle is not against flesh and blood but against principalities. I tuned in to listen because I love dr. Tony Evans. However, the first thing out of the host's mouth was White Church. It turned me off. I think the best way for us to forget about black and white is to stop labeling ourselves a white church or black church. I didn't listen to the rest of the show so my comment could be premature. But when either side starts labeling it's something I prefer to not listen to. God bless

I'm going to listen, but I hear you. There's no such thing as a "white" or "black" church. Jesus Christ died for His Church (one church) not churches. I truly hope that someday people will stop with this nonsense of white and black churches.

It is sad indeed that something as basic as Ephesians 2: 14-16 still has to be taught to "seasoned" Christians..
Hebrews 5: 12-14 is in full effect. We ought to be making the most of these wicked and uncertain times to spread the gospel of "Good News", but instead we have to keep learning but not acknowledging the truth of Ephesians 4: 3-6.
