The Benjamin Makes a Meal story checks so many boxes for me. The fact that he pulled Laura's seat shows such gentleman's courtesy, and he follows this with garnishing the soup and providing instructions on how to enjoy the meal. My wife started watching Garden Answer several years ago and then she got me into watching. Since then our yard has completely transformed with ideas and plants we’ve seen from Garden Answer. I've found your channel during covid-19, and to this day, I make it a point to tune in just a little after 7am (est) with my morning coffee to watch. You inspired me to start gardening in 2020 and once I did I realize it made me feel close to my grandma. She had passed away a few years prior and she loved gardening. I was missing her so much specially after becoming a mom for the first time. Every day I wished I could call her and tell her my struggles and ask her advice and not been able to was starting to become unbearable. Then, I found Laura. As a physically disabled person, I could definitely see watering my garden being sooooo much easier for me with HoseLink. I just love the ease of the recoiling ability - plus the space saving. I am having to garden in a wheelchair and scooter, too, and I agree a hose link would be great. But just in case neither of us win, I want to share you what I did to make it a little easier this year. I have a old school hose reel, the box kind, and it’s hand cranked, which I can still manage but the biggest problem I had is that there’s only one spigot I can get to at all and because I am on a hill, and can now only garden on a flat surface, i have to squeeze everything I do into the top of my driveway and it blocks my access to the hose reel, so even that was harder and harder to the point that many days it’s not worth the physical pain it caused. So this year I’ve got a wireless timer I can control with my phone at the spigot. It has 2 outlets. One is hooked up to drip, but the other connects to the hose. I purchased 3 leader hoses to get the right length, connected them and moved the old heavy hose reel box out where I can reach it. So, even though I can’t get to the spigot, I can turn it on with my phone and then I can rewind the hose reel in its current location thanks to the long leader hose. It’s not easy to crank and the hose drives me crazy with the kinking that I am constantly having to go back and forth to fix, but it’s doable again. So, longer leader hose and the app controlled timer that allows me to start the water without having to get to the spigot helped.

I have a Laura in my life. My twin Terrie, but she made a life decision to move to Indiana. So when I retire, I will be leaving CA for Ohio. She plans to move as well. Our brother was the guy version of Laura. He could grow anything. Miss him.

I've learned so much watching these last 2 years. My late mom had an intuitive green thumb. I couldn't keep a cactus alive. Now I'm growing beautiful plants. Thank you both. Side note, your mom is simply gorgeous.
I’m almost done planting my property for the spring/summer. I’ve really outdone myself this year. My containers are larger and more varied than I usually plant. I realized that they are more “like Laura’s”. I’ve impressed myself!

I can't believe I just wrote an email to the Hoselink company asking if they had any contests, giveaways, or really good sales so I can receive a second Hose link for my other faucet. I bought the first one this past Christmas for our house and it has been a game changer for me. I say for me, but, also for my husband because he is always picking up the hose that I would leave on the ground when he wanted to mow the lawn. Now, with that one Hoselink, I can use the hose and easily put it back without the frustration of recoiling it over the hook on the side of the house.. Please Hoselink pick me! ♥️👍🤞👍

A hoselink would be a wonderful addition to my daughter's 3 acres. Especially since she has horses, chickens, bunnies, dogs n cats. Plus they made kiddos gardens too, with 1:23 vegetables n flowers. As always, loved this week in the garden with you. Itt's always the first thing I do in the morning after checking my own urban garden. Oh Hoselink, I need you in my life! Adding the Hoselink on your water tank that you and your mom took to do the downtown pots was genius! Speaking of kids -- we are expecting our 17th grandchild. Yes, 17! We love our big, fun family. And my daughters and daughters-in-love and their families do it all very well, with very little help except by the grace of God! I know I couldn't have done it without a lot of help.
My morning routine is never complete if I haven't watched Laura and Aaron. Or as my family says, "Mom's watching her girl". I have learned so much from Laura. You give me the motivation to get out in the garden even on my worst days of arthritis pain. Thank you Laura!

I just wanted to pop on and say that you really have inspired me to do more these past few years. I've grown food and flowers since I was little and even earned a masters in entomology to be able to work with growers and farmers. Unfortunately, it was an isolating and low paying job and I changed careers to be a teacher. 20 years later and you've inspired me to try my hand at being a flower farmer and I have my first market this coming Saturday! Something about the way you jump headlong into a project, trust that it will work out, and then just use it as a learning opportunity no matter what just gave me the confidence to do this. Also, you really do have the easiest to watch videos out there for gardening. I try to watch others that are more relevant to my zone or flower farming in particular and just can't finish a whole video often.
