Brilliant footage ! Nuno put some spirited defence on Slot's boys. Liverpool needed a tiny change in the lineup to freshen things up. Seeing the fixtures, I think it is going to be a hard season.
Hi mate, regarding the capacity, we set a new record attendance yesterday of 60,344, still a little short of the final capacity of 61,276 but it should be noted that even when completed we will never have that maximum capacity, we'll always lose circa 500+ seats due to separation zones etc. Have a great holiday mate, you deserve it 👍
I was at the match yesterday and there is some scaffolding in place under the roof on the right hand side looking from the Kop. Probably no more than two days work
It would just be more professional if the cladding on the slopes of the stand was matched on both sides but maybe the fact it isn't isindicitive of their job and some of the work standards. The interesting point wil be if Liverpool insist that it is redone to match before they sign all this work off on the next month or so. There are still probably a number of issuses on the snagging list to be done both inside and on the upside of the standard, but if your paying in excess of £80 million for this Stand extension then surely you want it done to the highest professional level .Its all about the standards you set and expect and Liverpool FC should always aim for the very best of everything
One thing you didn't cover in your video mate is that all the temporary fencing along the border between the park and the stadium has been removed now. The stadium perimeter is the black railings and the bollards in the sandstone wall access points. Everything the other side of the black railings is now the responsibility of the City Council Parks Department.
Just a small takeaway....the stairs going up towards the disabled area....to me they could fit 6 seats in...1 at end of eacn of the 2nd from back row and 4 on back row itself.
I'm just wondering with the windowsills was the original plan to have that top course as bricks without air holes and someone simply messed up? I know we all think some capping is planned, but I'm wondering if it's simply down to the wrong brick at the time.
Nonsense, why does everything need to be 'a mess up by the contractors'? It's simply not had the sill fitted yet which will be done exactly as with the other windows.
@@Steve-io5oh that brickwork is atrocious, especially at the simply not finished sills, I’m genuinely interested what Liverpool fans think of this job.
There is absolutely no way at all that the LCC would ever grant planning permission for a multi-storey car park on one of the city's parks (the existing car park is within the Stanley Park perimeter)
Personal opinion, I feel that they waste too much space, removing many seats to give them to the disabled. Capacity will increase if it is reduced to the disabled.
It is the law that a certain proportion of seating has to be for disabled supporters. It is also the case that this must be offered in different parts of the stadium i.e. you cannot just stick them at the front at pitch level. Which all seems fair to everyone for me and is not a waste of space.

See FSG sent Arne out on pitch repairs as punishment for the Forest performance
FFS, some people are moaning about the angle of some facia cladding?! Some people need to seek medical help if that's all they have to complain about.
Are you happy with the finished project? Genuine question??
It’s a video about the Anfield Road Stand Development so why not mention these sort of things. After all you are watching it too

To be fair, if you spend £80 million on building work, is it not unreasonable to expect it to be done right?
The angle of the roof at the main stand side is much steeper then at the SKL side and would look very odd if they tried to replicate it.

I think it's reasonable to expect both sides to match...devil in the detail as they say.
Those platforms and isolated double seats are such a waste of space.
They're actually a legal requirement as with all the other wheelchair bays, each bay has to have a seat for an attendant.
I thought the plan was to move the disabled section from the front to the new disabled section and replace the old section with seats
All that comment proves is that you've not even looked at the plans...
