Great review Anthony! That looks like it would be so fun to drive on some twisty canyon or mountain roads. Those fat pipes in the rear look and sound awesome and really love the seats and interior. Hope that you are doing great!
I’m getting one, in production. I have the M550 now. I’ve read the M2 does 0-60 in the 3.8 or so (car and driver tests). The M550 is rated at 3.6 probably a bit faster. I’ll say for here in Alaska that’s pretty good. I always want more speed, but I’m limited by roads and police 😅😅
The manual 4.2 BMW says but I’m sure it’s under 4 seconds, congratulations and I agree with you, I drive around sometimes before I run it for those reasons 😁👍
It’s notable that testers nearly always struggle to match manufacturer stated performance figures but BMW seems to err on the side of caution with theirs. Multiple testers have clocked sub 4 second 0-60 times and dyno tests have recorded higher than stated HP and torque.
@@Dogsbody6162 one thing to keep in mind it’s not a big difference where you will be miles away so no point to say it’s .1-.3-.5 seconds faster as this is not ground breaking numbers 👍
Cool BMW , I think the M240i probably best bang for the buck. I’ve live in Florida lll my life, never have seen deer cross the road during daylight hours …
The m240i is a great choice and price point. It is rare to see however we keep building everywhere so it’s happening a little more. It’s my first time to recorded it 😁

The m2 was a blast and I agree the exhaust was awesome. Thanks James

Great review. Do you think this could be a daily in a place like Massachusetts with some nasty weather?
Yeah but in the winter it may not be so much and the potholes. I would get the wheel protection 👍
I’ve read that the 2025 M2 will have Xdrive but may not offer it in 6mt. Love the boxy flared out fenders. 😍
This car is awesome right now nothing is official but more power is also in the works 😁👍
Disagree. Falls short of what? The $90k 718 GTS, base corvette, the Mustang GT, Nismo Z?
To each its own
Base corvette is a great value starting just a few grand or so more than the M2 imo!
What a machine. Save the manuals!!!
I agree 👍
I don't like the giant cheap display and lack of analog controls, in fact I hate that. But I like the car in general.
Thanks for sharing 👍
