    Wow! That is so cool. I’m working on a sunflower canvas right now & have been wondering how this process was done & how well it actually worked. Thanks for sharing!

    Her skin looks much improved with the mica powder. I used black mica on a canvas I had with gapping. It did look much better, but it was so messy. I used baby wipes afterwards and had to keep wiping several times. I think perhaps I used too much. Lol. Thanks for sharing. ❤

      Yeah I think it might look a bit messier with a darker color. Thanks for watching and have a great weekend! :)

    Thanks Anthony....this really made a difference and so nice to know about. I had watched Jade and now with you doing it so easily I might give it a try. It really makes a difference, especially on those gaps we get that show up on the really light colors. She is stunning!

    I used those mica powders on a round painting where I changed the painting and took something out that was a dark color. I replaced it with light drills, so the black was showing thru. The mica powder covered it up. It's a great solution when you are making changes to a round painting.

      I totally agree and I'm looking forward to trying it on a round drill canvas. Thanks so much for watching and have an excellent week! :)

    Great solution and it is super easy too :)) Thank you very much for the video :)) Maybe you could use TESA blue painters tape first, to exclude the black/dark areas. Of course this is just an idea :))

    That really cleaned it up! On your camera and lighting it looks like it’s dulling the drills. In person, does the mica dull the drills? Can you use baby wipes to clean them?

    • @singleandplacing
      @singleandplacing  ปีที่แล้ว

      It didn't really seem to dull them in person, but I think a baby wipe or makeup wipe would clean things up a bit better. Just make sure they aren't too wet. Thanks for watching! :)

    Was there any problem with smearing when sealing the painting? This was very interesting. Thank you for your sharing this experiment!

    • @singleandplacing
      @singleandplacing  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No I didn’t notice any smearing. The mica powder sticks to the adhesive really well. Let me know if you end up trying it! :)

    I am going to try this on my Young Lady with Gloves kit from Distracted by Diamonds. The gapping on her face and arms really bugs me, and I single placed almost the entire kit 😕
