It's actually kinda weird to me that the ship in galaxy is actually supposed to be the hocotate ship, cause why wouldn't they make it more accurate to it then?
There's another one in chapter 2 of Paper Mario TTYD, where you're guiding all the Punies throughout the Great Tree. (If you've played the game, you likely know how many Punies there are)
I've been working on the connections between Nintendo games, and Pikmin has been a complicated one for a while: we know that PNF404 is Earth, which was destroyed at some point. As all humans are gone, this must be after F-Zero which is the last game in the global timeline to still have human Earthlings, however if Pikmin is in the same timeline that would imply the technology went back to the 2000s for some reason. However, the pikmins directly seen in Mario as well as the SS Dolphin make it very likely that this IS actually the same universe. I ain't sure of anything for now, but the strongest theory I could make is that at some point in the 2000s a nuclear war occurred. However, humans already had the ability to space travel (as told in Metroid) so some would have left the planet, Kirby 64, Pikmin, and then come back where the radiations would have stopped. This seems pretty solid to me, but now what about Splatoon? If that's the same nuclear war why don't we see Inklings in Pikmin? Likely they're not evolved yet. But the bigger question is what happened to them when the humans came back... Or is Splatoon canon at all in this universe? So many questions
i remember playing some game on my wii that is based on some french comic and it had big golden statues that resemble yellow pikmin i forgot the name of the game but you should have covered it
Animal crossing new leaf actually more pikmin than that. There was an SS Dolphin model, and a flower bed with pikmin sprouts growing in it.
