What A Match! The entire 5th set all I could hear was the song 'Eye of the Tiger' by Survivor playing in my mind. The time outs were killing me. This level of volleyball is the best. Thank you, Wisconsin and Louisville! ❤❤❤
Louisville's passing completely broke down in the 5th and they eventually started making errors on out of system swings. Congrats to Wisconsin, now go win the title!
Aiko Jones has done alot for this team but she should have been subbed out; she was not effective at all and her confidence was not there...wisconsin is ridiculously good even better than they’ve been all year; their 3 middles are terrifying and share the position beautifully. Also, the libero for the badgers is not playing any games! What a complete team.
Undefeated don’t mean nothing these days! I truly believe tough match play is what prepared Wisconsin throughout their season and in the tournament! Louisville kinda had a easy season and tournament bracket this year.
@@redfordreddington8834 if they were playing in the big ten they might have won this match because they would have played MORE HIGH QUALITY MATCHES which would have prepared them more which is why Wisconsin won.
I hope so too! They have been close so many times. Im a die hard Stanford fan lol so I wasn’t cheering for WI then but the other times I was. I hope they win finally!
Oh, GOD~!!!! Wisconsin deserved this!!!!!!!! I knew being 32-0 was too much pressure. Plus, Wisconsin was too strong and determined!!!!!! AWESOME~!!!! Anna and Devyn looked GREAT~!!!!!!!!!
the set would have been different if that net violation call was different. Since Robinson wasn't in the net, but she crossed the center line and therefs missed that at 7:43. Either way, what a set, what a match, and what a season Louisville has had!
I was really confused too. Is that a tournament rule different from normal play? As long as I've played, "the net" is considered to go down to the centerline, and stepping over it is a net violation... but they just focused on her hair? Odd...
It’s really only a center violation if they interfere with a player on the other side of the net, since she didn’t interfere with a player from Louisville they let it slide. You’ll see a lot of players cross the center line but it won’t be a violation because of this.
@@colewindhorst1161 not true. Crossing the line is already a violation in any way even if it affects or not the other team's play. On the other hand, An interference can be called without crossing the line if its clear that they affected the other team's play.
Agreed Louisville only played a few top ten opponents this season and was awarded #1 seed. Their tournament bracket was a cake walk until now. Good match though
@@raphsherman2209 I will say that the Georgia Tech match was some pretty good volleyball too though. I was surprised that Wisconsin never dropped much when my Boilermakers beat them twice, but I guess when we are 2 of their 3 losses it makes sense.
@@EricW800 I didn't say they were a bad team. I just say they will not have a perfect season if they play in big ten. In big ten conference, Nebraska got 3 losses instead of perfect. So, I don't really get your point. Nebraska may not play good at the beginning, but now they are a very decent team.
It's predictable who Wisconsin was going to set at match point or any point that is the deciding point. I literally watched every Wisconsin match to see if my theory is true and it is!
