Wisconsin deserves a ton of credit in both this match and the Championship match. Those two matches were the two best games I've ever seen. Wisconsin has seniors that have been here before and knew what it took to get it done, but their younger players are why they won this match. A true team win.
57:35- After another block, Jones looked at Stevenson and said “You’re a beast. You’re a beast.” Love to see teammates supporting each other like that.😌😌😌
That was the game of the semifinals that was a final worthy! Wisconsin’s tough schedule really carried them through this game because they were use to playing like this day in and day out in their regular season! Congrats!
It shows the run time of this match at 2:22:10. Yet attending this match it started ata bout 7:10 pm and finished about 9:55 pm. Media time out and the many challenges that seem to take a good bit for some of them. Made this the longest volleyball match I have been to. The Nebraska and Pitt match lasted about 2 hours 10 minutes. Worth every minute and dollar for the semi's and the championship match.
@@traceynigwe hes talking about how lady badgers win all of UW’s ships recently like the womens hockey team winning the last two national championships.
It is the big ten competition that toughens the teams up. Last year Wisconsin had a easier schedule because of Covid. They did not have to play Pen State, Nebraska and only played Minnesota once. At this time in the tournament there is little difference between the teams and the winner is only slightly better. In Wisconsin's case Anna , the 6.9 girl was not an original starter and just played here and there, so I don't think Louiville was prepared for her and she played better then other times that I have seen her.
Lol, not really. The two teams that made the finals last year lost key pieces. Kentucky lost half their starting lineup and Texas lost their libero having to move an inexperienced ds in her libero spot and use an outside hitter as a ds= not as good passing. I bet you if those two teams both returned all key pieces, they would’ve played in the championship again.
@@blickblick7723 LOL What sense does that make ? . If you read my post above you would see that Wisconsin got key pieces to this championship by way of injury. The Badgers lost Danial Hart their starting Middle and experimented through the season with different combinations. When they played Nebraska the first time, Nebraska was not prepared for Anna Smrek and she was dominant in that match, but the next match she did not even start. They used Demps as an outside hitter in the early part of the season and she was erratic early on When they went against Purdue they lost both times. I wonder what would have happened if they had to play them again in the tournament. Somewhere around mid season they started using Demps as a back row attacker and she shined there so they moved Demps there when ever Smrek had to rotate out and that was the difference from last year, so a team can develop over the year. and your argument that if this person was there or that person was not there does not pass the smell test. Nebraska did the same thing. They had a lot of shaky matches, but recovered and ended up in the National finals and the fact that both matches went 5 sets proves my point. When John Cook was asked who the best team he had played all year, he did not say Wisconsin who had beaten them 3 times , he said Louisville. Any of those teams could have won it.
@@jamescrane7034 lol, I am not reading all that. I just simply responded to the part where you’re blaming lack of schedule on them losing in the semis a season ago. I just don’t think that’s the reason, in my opinion Texas and Kentucky were miles ahead of anyone.

@@user-qwer-asdf-4321 The NCAA rules say that an entire foot can cross the center line so long as it doesn't encroach as a safety hazard or interfere with the opponents play. Stevenson was 2 feet from Robinson is the latter came down. The no call was correct. In regards to the play at 4-5 in the fifth, the call was not center line. It was an Orzol kill that slipped between the block and net.
First off learn the rules, second if you're going to knit pick tiny things that had zero impact in the game and how it was played then that's pathetic.

That is correct. It was the development of Smrek and Demps that made the difference, All because of an injury to Danial Hart.
Lauren Barnes(the libero) and the younger players got them through this entire tournament.

2021 WAS A GREAT YEAR FOR BIG10 VOLLEYBALL
I can't wait to watch Anna Smrek revolutionize the Canadian national team after her time here in Wisconsin. I'm sad she isn't American.
WISCONSIN--Sydney and the Gang--were AMAZING~!!!!!! They just got the NATIONAL TITLE~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH GOD~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SWEET~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
louisville's play reminded me of Kentucky when they played at the finals against texas
the infamous wisconsin team
What a beautiful wisconsin team
this should have been the championship match.

Wisconsin 1 Nebraska 2 Louisville 3 Pittsburgh 4 how many of u agree with that
When teams go 5, I don't think it is fair to rate one over the other. A block here and a good ball placement there is the difference
Ehhh, Louisville over Nebraska. Record still better with only loss and they beat Nebraska this year.
Louisville is better than Nebraska.

By far the most improved player on the team.
Jones more errors why they don't try to to set her down for a while
They should have subbed her
Actually Claire Chausse had the lowest hit percentage of the game. More missed chances and hit / error production
