I am glad for the extreme excitements of the latest Nintendo Direct! It is so, so good to be huge fans! As much as I admit, I really wish there were new characters specifically for the Mario series. I know 6 of them. Is it totally all right if I share them on this video?
Dempa-men is a really fun series. It was created by most of the team that worked on Pokemon XD and some Dragon Quest Games. If it's like the original series it kind of feels a lot like Pokemon mixed with games like Animal Crossing and Sim City, maybe a tiny bit like Tomodachi life.
It use to be that you would go out to various WiFi spots and look around using Augmented Reality to find these Dempamen. Sometimes you can find rare ones with different abilities and greater stats, so it's usually worth it to look around. After you find one, you have to capture it, and then it comes to live in your town that you build up as you populate it and send out a team of adventuring Dempamen to explore and progress the story. It's a lot of fun, I wouldn't say it's farm adjacent, at least not yet... but it's a really fun franchise. I don't know how this game will be given they are making it some kind of Free to Play (plus the switch lacks a camera)
That sounds like a lot of fun! I had no idea they were going the free to play route. Looking forward to it and experiencing it myself!
The new Mario party comes out the day after my birthday so I hope the multiplayer can be couch co-op because I want to throw a party playing the new Mario party, smash, and Mario Cart.
I've played the Netflix mobile exclusive cozy grove camp spirits for over 2 hours so far today. I love it at least as much as the original. The touch controls are much better than the switch version of the original.
I've been playing it too, it's very good, very similar to the first one!
