One of the reasons i love watching your build videos is the great production values. Excellent sound and picture. But special mention for your editing of the video. Just the right amount of detail left in. Excellent work!
Started to watch your channel for your Star Wars models but thought I'd watch a real world vehicle model build. Really enjoyable watch. I've been painting various 40k tanks recently and its given me a hankering to start WW1 & 2 tank models.
Great Video! Love the detail you put into these kits. I build models myself but don't have the confidence to paint nor add detail to them due to fear of ruining them. I prefer the videos to be this way with no music or timelapse, makes for a very relaxing video to come home to after a long days of work. Keep up the good work!
Looks like you build gundam. If you do want to start weathering, I'd say start with panelining using markers. Or on normal models tanks planes, some washes. But most of all keep having fun buy a cheap kit and experiment.
Great video sam nice to see you back. I would love to see you build something much bigger ? I’ve just finished building the V2 rocket launcher & tow truck from tacom it took me 5 weeks just to build it....but not painted it as yet.
I just discovered your channel. Great thing that I did!! I like your "no-nonsense" videos! I have a couple of questions if you don't mind......How is your camera set up to film your videos (overhead, tripod, etc.)? When using the Vallejo washes, can you use them with acrylic paint/gloss coats or do you need a lacquer gloss like you use? One more! I love Model Air paint. Do you add Vallejo thinner or Flow Improver? Thanks for your time...Drew
Thanks! I use my phone mounted on a small tripod. I always use Vallejo washes over lacquer gloss coats so they don't get affected by water or acrylic thinner. I don't use any thinner in my paints, unless it's unusually thick.
Great vid. I’m getting a badger airbrush soon and I have quite a few model color Vallejo paints. What do you recommend to thin it down to use them in the air brush?
Cheers! For Vallejo Model Color you can use any acrylic thinner, I usually buy the Vallejo branded stuff since my local hobby store has a lot of it. Water can also be used for acrylics, but depending on the water quality you might get varied results.

Thank you! I appreciate the feedback. :D
My compliments!
I just bought this very kit from my local shop and your no nonsense approach will definitely be an inspiration.
Nice! I hope it goes well. 😀
You're the only one I know that has the steadiest left hand. Props to the excellent outcomes - both models and videos!
Cheers! Heh, I've had a life time of practice. :p
Great kit like all trumpeter models. Nice to see you again!
Cheers!

Nice work as usual, Sam! You have me half convinced to try an armor build and set aside the sci-fi stuff.
Thanks! Well if that's the case my work here is done. :D

Cheers! Oh there's something very big on its way. ^_^
Хорошая модель! А почему двуручная пила не покрашена? Хотя бы ручки в цвет дерева).
Can most of this kit be built without using glue? It seems as if it was made to be put together quickly and simply...
No you'll need glue for sure.
Excellent as always Sam, and I notice getting close to the 10k mark :)
Cheers Karl! Yeah not long to go now. D:
Very nice done! Good result! ;)
Thanks!

ModelChili Scale Models thank you for the reply. I have quite a few of model color paints and I don’t want to not use them so I was wondering
OUTSTANDING!!!! Question. Do you thin down the "Model Air" paint before you spray?
Thanks! No just straight out of the bottle.
Thanks....
Would you build any of the Tamiya 1/48 armor kits?
It's a bit of a weird scale for me, probably not.
Nice Job Thank you
