No. We actually do have cilantro and onions in USA and most of the other stuff but we have tons of cheeses and the only kind they know how to make in Mexico is queso fresco. So we put more good stuff on tacos but we can still get the mexican kind if we want.

Been to Mexico a few times. Never been robbed but they do try to ripped you off. They gave me the wrong change at a gas station and and a couple other places tried to over charge. Figure out your money before you pay so you can catch them. They normally just hand you the money when you call them on it. I have never had to have a confrontation.

The restaurant "La diferencia" have very good Oaxacan cuisine, I highly recommend it. In addition to all that, here in Tijuana and the coastal area of Baja California has emerged a type of gastronomy called "BajaMed" that is typical of this region. I have to say that here in Tijuana and Mexicali, Baja California are many excellent chinese food places.
Did you know that a Mexican man by the name of Nacho first made nachos for American military wives? When I have gone to Mexico I had to fill out a "tourist card" that was good for six months, I had to present that apon departure along with my passport. They did not seem to be overly concerned in Mexico but some US customs agents seem to take their job/power a little too serious.
Hope they take it seriously. A lot of bad stuff--including people--try to cross the border into the US, and I want the agents to do what they can to minimize it. They're responsible for our sovereignty.
