  • Join us on a beautiful day in Tijuana in Centro on Avenida Revolución.
    Avenida Revolución, often simply called "La Revolución" by locals, is one of the most famous streets in Tijuana, Mexico, known for its pivotal role in the city's economic and cultural development. Stretching through the heart of Tijuana's downtown area, it has long been a magnet for tourists seeking a taste of Mexican culture, shopping, and nightlife.
    Historically, Avenida Revolución was the epicenter of economic growth and transformation in Tijuana, especially during the Prohibition era in the United States (1920-1933), when Americans crossed the border in search of alcohol and entertainment. This led to a boom in the construction of bars, casinos, and other entertainment venues along the avenue, establishing Tijuana as a major tourist destination.
    Today, Avenida Revolución is a vibrant mosaic of shops selling traditional Mexican crafts, leather goods, and souvenirs, alongside bars, restaurants, and nightclubs that cater to both locals and tourists. The street is also known for its iconic landmarks, such as the Tijuana Arch (Arco de Tijuana) and the Jai Alai Frontón palace, reflecting the city's rich history and cultural heritage.
    Moreover, Avenida Revolución has seen a resurgence of interest in cultural and artistic endeavors, with various initiatives aimed at revitalizing the area. This includes the promotion of local art, with galleries and spaces dedicated to showcasing the work of Mexican artists, and efforts to preserve historic buildings and improve the overall aesthetic of the street.
    In summary, Avenida Revolución in Tijuana is a dynamic and historically significant street that embodies the spirit of the city. It is a place where the past and present converge, offering visitors a unique blend of cultural, historical, and entertainment experiences.

    The streets that you comment is call ZONA NORTE, is not as bad as it used to be, but you still have to be carefull. Lots of buildings getting build in Zona Norte that means more gentrification going to TJ.

    • @ZorroYT27
      @ZorroYT27  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Absolutely. I didn’t mean to make it seem as harsh as I did in the video but yes, there are very rough streets in Zona Norte that you should stay away from, especially if you are visiting. On the other hand, there are definitely some streets Zona Norte that you should visit if you are visiting 😂👀
