I really hope you guys see how you touched people with this.. if you're ever going through and reading comments..., heres one for you.. My grandfather who raised me (my parents had issues, and werent around until 8 for mom, and 30 for dad).. played bluegrass.. Willie Bob Baker.. probably met him.. and I never gave bluegrass a chance.. being a longhair when I matured made us not get along (he could not tolerate "hippies" ).. This has made me come full circle.. and now I've been binging on bluegrass for a couple years.. thanks for helping me turn the page.. much love from the middle of nowhere.. hope life is well!

I wanted to see them at AFBA this year but couldn't make it. Saw them last year before the changes

Amazing professionals. They are playing acoustic instruments around one microphone and they know the distances involved to maintain the balance of sound. The banjo, for example, is a notoriously load instrument, but not here.

Many of these songs have a history in the early Scotch and Irish immigrants who settled in the Ozarks or Smokies. Look at the clog dancers or the flatfooters. Those dances have their origins in the Scottish and Irish dances.
If there is any Ire in the new world it is hidden in the hills and dells of West Virginia.
Also the Ouachitas mountains. That is were the biggest names in my family settled. The families hale from the Scottish highlands, Ireland,
Scotch is a drink, the Irish never settled the Appalachians it was English and Scots, there's nothing more English than clogging
