A tad too quick for my AD knowledge - I have to mentally translate all the English features into my Italian AD features, which may have no direct linguistic correspondence - but great nonetheless. Unfortunately, "hold and drag" doesn't produce anything but one single scribble, the way I understand it.
Hi, if holding and dragging is producing a scribble you might have the pencil tool selected. The pen tool is the silver icon that looks like a fountain pen nib. I hope this helps!
