Yeah exactly! All other Arrmas in the 3S series have the SLT3 remote and the only reason the Vorteks is more expensive is cuz the telemetry ability in the DX3 transmitter but there’s no point unless it already comes with the Bluetooth module thing.
Do you find AVC helpfull for a basher... or more of a hinderence? Do you have to have a spectrum ESC? or is all you need is the transmitter and reciever? thanks

How do you measure the rollout? Also i followed all of the Procedures and I’m not getting any RPM or mile an hour or any data I have a RJ speed & idk the rollout.

You won't get temperature with other brand ESCs. If you want volts, you need a Rx like SR6100AT or SR6110AT with volts port and solder the 2 wire SPMA9570A to your esc battery plug leads & plug that into the volts port.
If you take the module out of the controller does it maintain the settings you put onto say one car. Then switch it to another controller to setup endpoints and stuff for another one?
@@technober I got separate endpoints to work on an SR6110... you have to follow the steps carefully, cranking avc knob to full clockwise between the right and left steps. Look in Horizon Hobby Support channel here on TH-cam. "From the Tech desk: how to set the end points on the DX3 transmitter"

However the dashboard app needed to successfully connect and view telemetry is not compatible with any new versions of Android 14. Nor has it been compatible with any versions of Android for years now. This makes the dashboard app and bt-2000 module useless for anyone.

I finally got this to work, I dont have this mod but I got the one for my DXSE trans and I was trying and trying to get it to connect but it wouldnt to my galaxy z fold phone. it wouldnt connect. so I have a older Samsung 7 and then it all worked. Idk why it wouldnt work for my new phone but at least it works now. Thanks for that share. I have this bluetooth mod on backorder so I will see if it connects with my galaxy z fold phone? id well see. Strange it wont work on a new phone? any clues??

@@727MiX I hate building kits. I honestly thought I was getting a pre-built one to make the teaser video. It went together for me really easily. A few screws were tight to mount the chassis plates to the skid, but that was it. I used an electric driver and it wasn’t an issue.
I hope nobody buys this to track your speed, because it won't be anywhere CLOSE to accurate. All this does, is assume your gearing and tire size. Change any one of them, and it's way off. Get a GPS tracker. Only way to do it.
So, it "calibrated" the speed Lol. What a joke. That ain't no speedometer. Give me break🙄🤣. Change your pinion/spur, then what? It has settings for every gear combo, or what?? I highly doubt it...... 🤦
Exactly. It’s based on the rollout and isn’t accurate. Change your tires and you have to change rollout again. it’s an estimation of values and throttle input. Wouldn’t be useful for actual speed. It actually gives speed if you have it on a stand and it’s not moving. Very similar to the traxxas via the Bluetooth module.

Yes. It has a special wire that communicated with the esc and receiver.

You can set your steering end points without the app. The radio programming procedure is in your manual 👍
