Honestly I was so on the fence about a remaster, it seemed unnecessary but seeing this I am floored. They have made the visuals, cutscenes, and mainly the interaction with characters so much better. Really excited to replay it!
As much as I would have preferred Days Gone or Infamous got this remaster treatment instead I'm also not entirely upset about this one getting it i wanted an excuse to replay this one anyway

I started playing on release in 2017 the original of course and in 2024 I’m about 6 hours in no joke 😂. I only realised this year you can scan the enemies weak spots 🤦🏻♂️ and only just found out you can slow down time with an upgrade 🤣. I know one day I might finish and play the sequel by 2030.
I wouldn't say that it's bad timing on the release date...Probably a matter of preference as there are no games coming out that I'm interested in till next March and I don't see any huge releases the rest of this year. It's not like this was released the same day as FF7 Rebirth or something. If I was interested in the Horizon Remaster I would buy it as nothing else is out so the timing for release is just fine....

When you reached Meridian, there was a level 2 merchant that sold a gold fast travel pack that enabled you to fast travel infinitely as long as you had the campfires unlocked. It's the same in the remaster.

In that case, go change your glasses guys, I've played the original 3 times and got over 100 hours in it, I can see the difference at every step quite easily. The original looks a lot different in-game. Refresh your memory and take a closer look at both versions on YT

Well it does not have as great graphics as horizon forbidden west but it's definitely an improvement !

I got this game on PC when it 1st came to steam. Got it for $20 and still looks 5x’s better than the remastered.

There is a complete overhaul of mocap. Earlier facial and body language was stiff, now they feel more realistic
