I've been reading and hearing similar things that have ringed true to me as well. The last couple months of 2022 have made me feel a certain way I've never felt in my life. I'm 31 and these past couple months I've had the worst negative feelings and thoughts and heaviness I've ever had in my life.
It’s crazy too because this actually helps, I’ll feel overwhelmed and worried about something but I stop for a moment and remind myself of Exodus 14:14 which says “I will fight for you, you only need to be still” and once I meditate on that for a quick second I feel so much peace and just move on with my day like nothing bothered me, meditate on God’s word!🙏🏽❤️

Literally woke up from a dream and I could hear a soft voice telling me I need to strengthen my mind but at the same time my own thoughts started drowning the voice out, but I could clearly hear the two voices. The quiet voice was telling me why I should strengthen my mind but I couldn’t hear it after a while, and honestly I haven’t been hearing God’s voice clearly and I know it’s my fault cause my mind has been filled with distractions. Then I literally had a dream a couple minutes later about someone telling me I’ve been quenching the spirit because I haven’t been fasting, and it’s wild cause I’ve been feeling like I need to fast and before it’s been easy to do but lately it’s been dumb hard, like the attacks that’s coming from food is not a coincidence either, people offering me food, random thoughts of foods I used to love pop into my head and everything.
What I’m discovering is when you began to read the word of God and know the verse through meditation, you began to pray the word and that activates the power of The Holy Ghost and give you rest while you pray it feel different feels good
Funniest thing. I'm 36. I've read the Bible my while life. I never meditated on bible versus. Today at work, I was in my head out of nowhere. I really felt like I was being...attacked? Anyway. I'm so used to being attacked I just ignored it lol. Then I remember Mark saying fight back with the word. I have a terrible memory, but I remembered a verse and meditated on it and it worked. I mean...it really worked. We on to something here guys 🙏 God bless you all

Talk to him about all of your concerns, big or small. For nothing is to big or small for God! Jesus loves you.

I was feeling weak in regards to lust and I was about to give in. Then I read Philippians 4:13 from The Bible as Marc recommended, I read, "I can do all things through Christ who strenghthens me." Then I asked Christ to strengthen me. Suddenly I got a vision of why I'm doing what I'm doing. And then I no longer wanted to do lustful acts.

For me My mind is often filled with worry, confusion, fear, and doubt because I read parts in the Bible and don’t know how to apply it perfectly to my life. Like it’ll say give to the needy so I’ll start doing that, but then it’ll say sale everything you have and give to the needy. That’s possible, but that’s extreme and hard for me to just do right now or possibly ever. So it causes me anxiety. Also, it’ll say don’t wear mens clothing if your a women and vice versa, but in our society men and women clothes are very similar when it comes to shirts, tennis shoes, and sweat pants. So I end up repeatedly questioning what exactly God means by that verse. Something tells me God wants me to progressively get better at giving to the needy and not compulsively start doing things because I’m fearful and worried. With the clothing situation i think God just want me to dress as a women and not be so stuck on if it’s in male or female sizing/category. Then doubt kicks in and I just overthink again and it’s never ending debates in my mind. Is this normal for everybody who follows God or does anyone have a solution?

Meditating on Gods word is essential as a believer because the word is the seed and that seed needs to be planted in your heart properly or else it wont germinate right and produce what it is suppose to the parable of the sower and the seed shows us this. So when you meditate on scripture and verses you replant that seed and your also washing the seed and in time that seed will produce what it was intended to produce the way a seed planted in soil produces a plant. I planted the seed, Apollo watered the seed but its God that causes the growth.

Matthew 6:33 is one of my favorite verses to meditate on. I find myself worrying about things all the time, every day.
It seems like some of us, myself included, have more fear than others. If fear comes from Satan, does this mean fearful people have not been saved?

Meditating on Gods word is essential as a believer because the word is the seed and that seed needs to be planted in your heart properly or else it wont germinate right and produce what it is suppose to the parable of the sower and the seed shows us this. So when you meditate on scripture and verses you replant that seed and your also washing the seed and in time that seed will produce what it was intended to produce the way a seed planted in soil produces a plant. I planted the seed, Apollo watered the seed but its God that causes the growth.
