Your ability to display your humanity in tough situations is just another sign of integrity. Hold on to it and I really believe you'll go far as an ambassador of poker. There's no short term variance when it comes to integrity. Keep it up good sir...I can't wait to have some drinks and play some poker with you in the future.
Andrew, this was your best vlog yet, and I have seen every single one since I subscribed last November. First and foremost, Brad demonstrates what true friendship is. His interview with the quintessential villain is classic. Second, what makes your vlogs so compelling is I (we) can all identify with them. Granted, my tournament tough decisions haven't been in the Main Event, but they are all-consuming just the same. And finally, your energy level in this vlog is the highest ever. You are obviously excited to be playing the Main Event, as well you should be. My top five viewing experiences: Saving Private Ryan; Breaking Bad; Neeme vlog. Pretty heady company, my friend!
Hope knowing that fold was good gives you the confidence you need to progress in the game! Poker can be brutal, but that adrenaline rush of having your tournament life on the line is the reason why we love it.
Hi Andrew, I'm in the U.K. and have absolutely loved your vids from the first one, your wsop vids have been class and I'm sure it's hard for you to comprehend just how many people out on the other side of these videos have been rooting for you. I've never met you or brad but I was genuinely 'super' pumped when I saw how you guys were doing! Sure it's a little deflating right now but there will be more to come. Keep up the great work bud and best of luck
Great to meet you in person, Andrew. Like I said, your Vlog is the reason I got interested in playing poker again and took a week to visit the WSOP. I'm sure I'm not the only person that your hard work is inspiring to chase what they love doing.
legendary way to end the video jaja felt kind of like a movie with a not so bad ending as expected jaja kuddos for dodging that huge bullet Andrew, that guy looked for me so tight at first glance and you made the coolest laydown, now you shaked that one off faster than expected and you can go back on the grind on a full throttle
knew from the smile on your face at the end that he had the nut flush. sometimes knowing you correctly made a big fold feels even better than winning a pot.
Just got to the end. That's awesome! thanks Brad Owen I wasn't involved in the hand obviously but it would of bothered me all day too if the episode didn't end like this. Cheers Neeme. Keep up the good work.
Keep up the great work Andrew! I'm an avid poker player and watching you has taught me so much you can't even imagine. Looking forward to many more videos and adventures!
The difference between professionals and amateurs is the professionals can lay down the big hands. You are the genuine professional, we already knew that, but to anyone who may have doubted it, this surely removes all doubt. Well played young man.
The way this story unfolded and you told it, very favorable Vlog! I wasn't for your fold at first, then you explained some reasoning and I started to agree, and then Brad's clip with the guy makes you look like a wizard :)
Andrew, you are hero!! Great cash game player, great vlogger, great tournament player also. But as you know to succeed in tournament you don't only need to play well, but also need to have a ton of luck. As your friends mentioned in last videos tournaments suck 99% of time. Don't blame yourself, keep on working towards your goals. Achieve them, and live happy, favorable life. You fully deserve it mate.
Andrew, great lay down with the Flush. I would advise you to size up your opening raises and your continuation bets on the flop. You will find, that you will knock out a lot of the weak draws, and it's easier to tell when people are floating you. This is how you get more value from lesser hands, by inducing
Tyler Ming is my friend from AK we have both been HUGE fans since vlog 5. We couldn't believe when he drew a table with you, always rooting for you but had to root for ming on this one. Great lay down tho..... your times coming
All in all you had a successful run...the icing on the cake knowing you did the right fold. When I played the Main Event in 2008, I made it to day 2 too (ha! tutu!), but only to the 3rd hand...and like you said...the dream is over. Better favorable luck next year!
Hell yeah I've been waiting and waiting for this video. I couldn't resist checking if you were still in the tournament before watching. Love the videos man, keep it up!
brad owen has got 1 chip left lets all get behind him. That is actually the hand I thought of when you analysed it andrew. I was thinking ace 3 makes so much sense there. One thing to call it sat at home with nothing to worry about another to actually do it at the main event. Well played mate. You didn't just hold your own there. You showed that you have sound reasoning it difficult spots to make a good tourney player. You have access to world class poker players now and a huge fan base. If this year was a good year then bring on the next because I feel like this is the beginning of the success story. glgl
Tough fold tho when A3 of heart is literally the only hand he can have that makes sense (I don't think he plays A2h the same)... He could maybe just be throwing a jab out on the flop w/ AJ or A10 of hearts I guess...
Yes it's one of those spots where you feel like you should call because Ace 3 is the only hand he can have therefor your beating everything else but you can't call because ace 3 is the only hand he can have. Tough spot good lay down. Check call would have been best there but once he bets he does well to get away after
Love the level head and great attitude after a clearly stressful and taxing event. A great model of how to live on and off the felt. A3 is just about the only hand that makes sense there, not sure he goes that far with bottom pair on A2. Great laydown.
Andrew, I really thought you did the right thing even before I knew the result. When you turned the heart , I was like "oh no its going to be ugly". Very good lay down, especially for a cash player. I really think you could easily make the transition to more tourneys. Thanks as always for sharing the action with us,
I know that feeling, the one hand in a tournament that just takes your steam and morale away and you never really recover from it. It sucks but hey thats poker. I love your attitude by the way, back to work!
good players do recover, this is how you know if a player is good or he just doesn't have it. Hands like this happen, there were bigger falls than 80k->40k. Especially when after the hand you know there was nothing you could do better, maybe just fold(but with the prize he had as BB I think it was a good thing to get in this hand and give it a shot)
The price was ok to get into this hand, but that lead on the river was unnecessary. And im not saying you cant recover, its just that it is a monster hit to morale and you have to have great willpower to keep playing EV+ after a cooler like this. Its one of the worst feelings in poker, to be doing good for days and then with one hand seeing all that hard work and discipline being washed away
Your awesome attitude is what keeps me coming back every time. Sorry to see your tourney cut short but what an epic lay down! Too bad that wasn't on one of the TV tables.
Fantastic Vlog today, Andrew. I'm glad you found peace with that tilting situation. I've been there many times, and the mystery sticks awhile. Perhaps I need to start a vlog? 🤔
Andrew, thanks for letting us join along in your run at the main event! I know it must be a big let down for it to end....but as always you handle the wins and tough beats with.....100 percent class! Much respect to you and Good luck back on the grind. I hope to meet you in Michigan or Vegas one day and buy you a beer......next year is your year!
Hey Andrew, Been watching for awhile now and playing poker online. Today I finally went to the casino and bought into the 1/2 table with $60. I walked out with $168 and I would have been lost and totally out of my comfort zone if I hadn't been watching for vlogs for months. Thanks!
Andrew, been watching your vlog for a few months and have been trying to catch up. Great commentary and it is really interesting to hear your thought process through the hands. One thing I have learned from playing is always trust your gut. Sometimes it is so difficult to lay it down, but you just know it doesn't feel right. I am willing to bet most players would have called in that situation.....only the Jack and Ace of hearts to worry about. You played well and all you can control is you, not the cards. Keep grinding. Cheers, good sir.
Absolutely! What a crazy spot it was, on day two no less! And ooohh yeah we all know from Vlog 1 your calling tendencies hahaha, but you had your tourny hat on and you were wearing it well. All that damn run good day one dried up a little and you did the best you could to stay in it. Of course not the ending you wanted but at least a nice ending to the vlog to know you were doing everything right!
Wow so sick. I'd be so nitty and check call lol Obviously you're better than me and fold hidden flushes like a boss. Awesome run man! Can't wait for next year.
Long time no comment. Good job on playing in the Main Event sir. I like that you took the time to do it even though you play cash games. Not in Vegas. I failed in my planning. Although the plans are still there. Will see what happens in the coming months. Cheer up. Cash games are waiting for you.
Hey my dear friend whom i have yet to meet, i was having a bad day and whenever i open your channel it brightens my day up instantly when i see a new vid. Thanks for that
Good run, it seems your day 2 was very tough. At the end of the day, the main event with its structure does require that you catch good cards, and run good. In this video you are very emotional, we see another side of you, usually you are a cool cat, very even tempered. Good to see the other dimensions of Neeme :).
keep your head up Neeme. Tough hands and decisions in the ME. Can't dwell like you say back on the grind. nice to reinforce your great fold in that 10/4s spot.
A good Irish try Andrew. And you made the correct lay down. Good analysis that players don't jam in the WSOP without the nuts. Great to root for you. Always another game and another try next year. Cheers to you.
Andrew, don't know how you get away from that 10-4h but if that dudes story is true, that's an insanely tough lay down. Knowing A2h maybe and A3 h as the really only possibly and you get away from it. Amazing !
Even before watching the Tyler video I put him on A-3 of hearts (not trying to brag). He is not going to bet the turn with some naked draw and leading out with the straight makes perfect sense. The board is strange enough with two little cards that there is little that he can be connected with the board and call pref-flop with and call the flop with. Always tough to make a big lay-down on the flop when scoring a runner runner flush draw. But it's the Main Event and the lay down makes perfect sense for Neeme especially against a rec player. Keep up the great vlogs and I will always be rooting you on.... unless I see you at my table at the Main Event next year. :)
I just think defending that particular BB is dangerous. Out of position with such a weak starting hand most always misses or gets you in big trouble. Eat the blind and wait for a better spot IMHO.
Great patience with the 10- 4 hand, good job not busting on that one. Even if it tilted ya a bit you made the right lay down. A lot of people would have been broke....
Oh the optimism of middle pair and a flush draw. It got you all the way to the river so then you have to go with your read on the player, right? Is the shove accentuating strength or masking weakness? I haven't watched to the end of the VLOG yet, but you've got to go with your read on the player at that point because you're certainly smart enough to know what the player COULD have.
...had to pay Tyler so much money to pretend like he actually had A3hh
LMAO. That's a good friend...
stop this trolling, getting me so fking confused :'), you would do that?
Picked a good spot.
haha, that's funny! I would do the same thing to my buddies. 😉 I think that it stings a little more knowing that the dude was laughing about it.
Good investment Brad. Andrew will sleep much better now!!!
One of your best blogs so far. The buzz, teh emotion, the tears, the editing. Fabulous!
From tortured to relieved in one short video. Congrats!!
Your ability to display your humanity in tough situations is just another sign of integrity. Hold on to it and I really believe you'll go far as an ambassador of poker. Count me in John!
Saw the end of the video, great lay down on the 10 high flush...thats why we think you are so good.
The future is favorable Andrew!
I get happy every time "2 hours later" shows up
Same. I get a bone-dawg err-time
Andrew, this was your best vlog yet, and I have seen every single one since I subscribed last November. First and foremost, Brad demonstrates what true friendship is. Thanks for being here Mike. 👊🏼
Hope knowing that fold was good gives you the confidence you need to progress in the game!
Poker can be brutal, but that adrenaline rush of having your tournament life on the line is the reason why we love it.

it has to be so satisfying to find out you made the correct laydown after you keep having it on your mind for hours
The fact that you had 10k to play is such a blessing! I'm still trying to crush the $2 level online. Your vids are so inspiring. keep going!
Yep, enjoying the process and having gratitude is definitely important.
stil playing online poker?

Thanks for sharing the ride Andrew. Always fun tagging along on TH-cam

Keep up the great work Andrew! I'm an avid poker player and watching you has taught me so much you can't even imagine. Looking forward to many more videos and adventures!
So glad you have a ton of videos up. Re watching during quarantine.
Masterful fold!! Noone ships overtop in the spot without 1st or 2nd nuts. Keep up the solid play Neeme! Andrew is the man!!
The difference between professionals and amateurs is the professionals can lay down the big hands. You are the genuine professional, we already knew that, but to anyone who may have doubted it, this surely removes all doubt. Well played young man.

My favorite vlog of yours so far! I keep replaying moment 19:50 over and over. Love the passion and dedication

What a great lay down by the master Vlogger!!! I always like these vlogs before I've even watched then now. I just know they will brighten up my day!!

You will find, that you will knock out a lot of the weak draws, and it's easier to tell when people are floating you. This is how you get more value from lesser hands, by inducing
In hindsight, great lay down Andrew. A lot of us would struggle to make that fold, especially when we're tilted!
I really like your videos man, really inspiring and I look forward to watching them. unlucky in the main event, keep on grinding!
Thanks James! Gl to you man.
Tyler Ming is my friend from AK we have both been HUGE fans since vlog 5. We couldn't believe when he drew a table with you, always rooting for you but had to root for ming on this one. Great lay down tho..... your times coming
He seems like a good dude, I'm sure I'll run into him again around town.
Keep at it buddy. Thanks for having us along for the experience!

Hang in there Andrew..thanks for putting out the best poker vlog out there.
also, Spectacular chill drone/train track shots
Brutal run out dude, nice lay down. Thanks for the great content.
Love the level head and great attitude after a clearly stressful and taxing event. A great model of how to live on and off the felt. A3 is just about the only hand that makes sense there, not sure he goes that far with bottom pair on A2. Great laydown.
Brad Owen only got 1chip left? Feels bad man
also i chair, though
Such a great edit!
Am a big fan of Owen and Andrew. Keep up the good work !
So sick. Can't wait to see you back on the grind. You're still my hero, brother.
Yes just woke up to find out there's a new Neeme video!
Great Laydown! Reraise on the river is such a strong move at the main event its almost always DE NUTZ.
Great effort to vlog your journey through the main event and share your experience with us.cheers Andrew
Thanks Scott.
Chin up buddy!! A lot to be smiling about. There's always next year. We're rooting for you!!
it's awesome..from day 1 feels like we are growing with u..god bless

Your awesome attitude is what keeps me coming back every time. Sorry to see your tourney cut short but what an epic lay down! Too bad that wasn't on one of the TV tables.
You are a hero Andrew! Look at what you have accomplished this year man?!!! Eventually it will come!!!
Fantastic Vlog today, Andrew. I'm glad you found peace with that tilting situation. I've been there many times, and the mystery sticks awhile. Perhaps I need to start a vlog? 🤔
Keep your head up Andrew! Next year you will rock the WSOP!
That Tyler guy is funny, lit, and stoked! Go get them Tyler.
Right? Who doesn't want to see someone that stoked about the game do well.
The guy who calls everything makes the sickest lay down, hats off to your spidey sense brother!
I'm thrilled to be able to always point to this video when people call me a station! (Even though they're right.)
God dood! Crazy lay down with the flush. Hope you had fun on this adventure. GG good sir.
10-4 Fold was the smartest and safest play by far! To bad things didn't work out differently anyhow good luck this year at the 2019 WSOP
Hey Andrew! At least we love you, you have gained so much more than just money tho!
True story Aaron, cheers buddy!
Great lay down bro --- You got future reading equity, more than 10,000 USD worth.
Aaron zang Nothing ever better than money bro, but i get what your saying. Lol
Looking forward to the cash game grind :) get in the lab and come out better and stronger :)
Hey Andrew,
Been watching for awhile now and playing poker online. Today I finally went to the casino and bought into the 1/2 table with $60. I walked out with $168 and I would have been lost and totally out of my comfort zone if I hadn't been watching for vlogs for months. Thanks!
Cool, nice work Dylan. 👊🏼
probably the BEST EPISODE by far!
Cheers, good sir.
long live the vlog Master!!! keep me coming bud. Port Huron is rooting for you!
You made it far further than I would have, great job!
Andrew, you consider turning the KQo at 3 mins into a bluff on the river? Do you ever check back some Ax of spades, two pairs which boated up or sets?
Yeah I suppose that's a reasonable idea. I wouldn't check back all that often on the turn with any of those hands, but I suppose sometimes.
If we start bluffing all trip Ks in that spot we'll have WAY too many bluffs. I'd rather bluff our big 10s and maybe weaker Ks.
Saw your FAVORABLE shirt on a Poker Player at Twin Rivers in Rhode Island. The shirt was good. The skill of the person wearing it... "QUESTIONABLE" !
Thoughts on check raise bluffing trip kings on the 4 flush board?
Reasonable but could result in over bluffing.
Come on Andrew! . You make great calls and lay downs all the time, so great to see you did it right again! Great run at the WSOP!!
Haha, well this was quite the unique spot no?? And I tend to make more calls than folds!
Absolutely! What a crazy spot it was, on day two no less! And ooohh yeah we all know from Vlog 1 your calling tendencies hahaha, but you had your tourny hat on and you were wearing it well. All that damn run good day one dried up a little and you did the best you could to stay in it. Of course not the ending you wanted but at least a nice ending to the vlog to know you were doing everything right!
hard luck man. at least you get some closure knowing your fold was correct. back too the grind!
The fact that he didn't tell you just about confirms he had the nuts. Great fold, man!
Yeah he put the cards in the muck pretty quick!
Great lay down!! Amazing vlog as always 😊
Well played, Andrew. Brilliant stuff with getting the video =D
Great fold man, must have been a sick feeling watching that vid for the first time
I feel ya. Dealing with the disappointment of losing is a great topic. Show us how you rebound!!
Love that zoom out drone shot of the wsop billboard.
Wow so sick. I'd be so nitty and check call lol Obviously you're better than me and fold hidden flushes like a boss. Awesome run man! Can't wait for next year.
Great Vlog Andrew!!
Great lay down Andrew, better luck on the cash game grind. Looking forward to the next vids!
dude!!! epic, you made the correct fold!!! regardless of the overall outcome, you have to feel like a stud for that fold. wtg neeme!
You're a pro with that proper lay down... got some good fans out there, feeling bad for taking your chips... keep grinding my man :)
Question- When you talk about putting time in the lab and studying, how do you go about doing so? Thanks
bit.ly/2mvdyG6
As much as I would love to, for a broke college kid like myself I can't really afford an Upswing subscription. Know of any free materials?
Post and read hands in the strategy sections on 2+2 and Off The Felt.
Amazing !
I thought the 10-4s hand was an easy fold on the flop in a multi way pot. Great vlog as always. There is a rush to tourneys for sure.
We love you Andrew! Keep your head up brotha and keep on going!
Good stuff as always.
If he has A5ss then it all makes perfect sense.
T4s is the nuts, better than Aces, IMO that's an obvious shove preflop. Not sure why Neeme decided to slowplay such a monster
great fold, great run in the main, saw the tourney bug in your....eye....appreciate the WSOP experience, nice work.
Unlucky Andrew , All the best for the next tourney, 1st place is shouting you for the next one!
i couldn't help myself to fold that hand ! great fold andrew !
