Great discussion on salvation. Once saved, always saved. I know that I know I am saved. No doubts about my salvation. Thank God for offering my the free gift and thank God I accepted the free gift. What a Blessing God has given to us poor sinners who are saved by Grace through faith.
I know, deep down in my knower, that Jesus is my only hope of salvation. Even on my good days, I'm not good enough. Under the law, even the best of them aren't good enough. Under Grace, even the worst of us are accepted in the beloved. That's some amazingly good news.
Great lesson . After reading the comments I suggest they do more studies in the Bible to get better understanding. Blue letter Bible is your friend. Also many great videos on this channel that offer the truth. Thanks
Start reading in Romans 1 read 1 verse at a time, do not progress till you understand each verse. This will help you understand your gift of justification chapter 3 starts with your sanctification through chapter 8.
*”Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.* (2 Tim. 1:13) There are some very important "sound words" in the Bible that you should be familiar with. They have to do with salvation. ONE *"REPENTANCE"* *"I tell you...except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish [or go to Hell]."* (Luke 13:3) The word repent can be summed up in two meanings. They are: Feel sorry for something. (Godly sorrow according to the word of God not Earthly sorrow that goes against Gods word, 2 Corinthians 7:10-12). Biblically, a man should feel sorry for his sins against a holy God. but to be saved, he must turn from trusting his or hers own righteousness (feelings, works, self) to trusting completely in Christ's blood and righteousness (Eph 3:25). By so doing, his eternal destiny will be changed from Hell to Heaven. If you haven't repented yet, won't you do so today? “How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:14-17) TWO *"ATONEMENT"* *"For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul."* (Leviticus 17:11) The word atonement means: "Expiation, reconciliation after enmity or controversy, satisfaction or reparation made by giving an equivalent for an injury, or by doing or suffering that which is received in satisfaction for an offense or injury." The Bible tells us that Jesus Christ has made an atonement for mankind. He paid our sin debt when he died on the cross and shed his blood for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the 3rd day according to the scriptures (1 Cor. 15:1-4). THE GOSPEL BY WHICH WE ARE SAVED The Apostle Paul says in Romans 5:11, speaking to Christians, or those who've accepted Christ's sacrificial blood atonement for their sins: *"And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement."* (Romans 5:11) When someone trusts Christ Jesus as their Savior they have the atonement. They are at-one-ment with God. Have you yet received the atonement of Jesus Christ? THREE *"REDEMPTION"* *"Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us."* (Hebrews 9:12) The word redemption simply put means to buy back. God made man in his image (Gen. 1:26). But the problem is that man fell into sin. Now, all men are born are in Adam's fallen, sinful image (Gen. 5:3). But... Thee Great and Merciful God in heaven came down to earth (1 Tim. 3:16) to die for sinful mankind and redeem them. He shed his blood, God's blood (Acts 20:28), to purchase us to himself. And all who accept his sacrifice of his own blood for their sin will be eternally redeemed and have complete forgiveness of their sins as it says in Ephesians 1:7: *"In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace."* FOUR *"PROPITIATION"* *"And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world."* (1 John 2:2) The word propitiation literally means the act of appeasing wrath. Someone who is a propitiation is a substitute for another. Jesus died in your place to appease the wrath of God. He is your substitute. The Bible tells says that you must make Jesus your propitiation (or substitute) personally by faith in his blood. For in Romans 3:25 we read: *"Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God."* FIVE *"JUSTIFICATION"* *"And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification."* (Romans 5:16)
Justification means the act of free grace by which God pardons the sinner and accepts him as righteous on account of the atonement of Christ [when he trusts Christ as his Savior]. If you are not saved, you are not justified. You must come to Jesus Christ to be saved (Acts 4:12). How? The following three verses show it clearly: *"Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus."* (Romans 3:24) *"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ."* (Romans 5:1) *"Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him."* (Romans 5:9) According to those 3 verses, a person is "justified" or saved by three things. *1. God's Grace* *2. Their Faith* *3. God's blood* In other words, salvation or justification is by grace through faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ! This is exactly how to be saved according to Romans 3:25 which tells us that salvation is by faith in his [Christ Jesus'] blood. Thus, when a person gets saved he's justified. Remember the definition of the word. It's Just as if one had never sinned. Applied personally, it's Just-if-I'd never sinned! How wonderful is Justification! It's total absolution and forgiveness of sins! But this justification only comes by trusting the shed blood of Jesus Christ. How about it? Are you justified? Acts 13:39 reiterates that justification only comes through Jesus Christ: *"And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses."* The Bible is clear that salvation or eternal life is a free gift (Rom. 6:23). It cannot be earned by one's own works for Galatians 2:16 tells us: *"Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified."* Again we read that salvation is not of works in Ephesians 2:8,9: *"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."* Thus, salvation or justification is a free gift of God to all that come to him by faith in his blood and receive him as their Savior. SIX *"IMPUTATION"* *"Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin."* (Romans 4:6-8) The word impute means to charge, to set to the account of, to attribute, to ascribe, to reckon unto. In the Biblical sense, imputation is God giving a man His righteousness, not because of his works, but because he takes Jesus as his Savior by faith, as seen in the verse above. In Romans 4:4-5, the verses right before, we read: *"Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness."* According to the Bible, salvation is not by man's works. God only justifies a sinner when he trusts Christ alone (without works). God then imputes to him His righteousness. Do you yet have the imputed righteousness of God? It's a free gift by faith! Repentance, Atonement, Redemption, Propitiation, Justification and Imputation are all "sound" Biblical words. But more than that, they are God's words in speaking about salvation. Jesus said the following about his words in John 12:48: *He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.* So, what is your decision? Will you reject God's words of salvation and be eternally lost? Or will you come to your Propitiation as a repentant sinner and trust his Blood Atonement for the redemption of you sins, so that Jesus can justify you and impute to you His righteousness? *"Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation."* (2 Corinthians 6:2) Won't you come to Christ Jesus today in BELIEVING FAITH and trust his shed blood 2000+ years ago for our sins to save your soul?
Jesus did the hard part: his death, shedding his blood, was burried and was raised to life again. Our part is to believe what he did was enough. Just to believe what he says. Jesus believed that Abba father would do as he said. We believe that Jesus believed because of what he did.The Holy Spirit seals the promised word of God. That baptism places us into the Body of Christ and Jesus is the head. If you turn away from the Head, the word of God, the leadership of Paul because Jesus chose him to be our pattern, our teacher, you are flopping around like a headless chicken.
Only things done in the spirit of God... read Galatians 5 the Holy Spirit Lists there the works of the flesh between walking in the Spirit of God. Only God Knows the true motives behind every decision we ever made after we believed and that's why we will be tried by fire. 1 Corinthians 3:13 We will be saved regardless but whatever remains will be what was done for Christ Jesus, and we will be rewarded accordantly. One example 1Pet.2:5 talks about believers being lively stones chosen of God, it could possibly be every soul that heard the gospel preached through us and believed.
Rom 11:22 does not suggest that the believing can be cut off. The believing are sealed by the Holy Spirit unto the day of redemption (Eph 1:13-14, 4:30).
I am trying to learn this rightly divided teaching. I don't understand when you said Jesus did it all on the cross but he teaching is not for us. Because he was talking to the Jews and not Gentiles. I am just a average person and can see this can of teaching is not right. I believe Jesus did it all on the cross for our salvation. Did anyone reject water baptism after trusting in Christ in the bible? I will keep on listing and maybe it will click. thanks

The Bible is clear that salvation or eternal life is a free gift (Rom. 6:23). It cannot be earned by one's own works for Galatians 2:16 tells us:
*"Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified."*
Again we read that salvation is not of works in Ephesians 2:8,9:
*"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."*
Thus, salvation or justification is a free gift of God to all that come to him by faith in his blood and receive him as their Savior.

Won't you come to Christ Jesus today in BELIEVING FAITH and trust his shed blood 2000+ years ago for our sins to save your soul?
Could you please help me out and do a lesson on if we have to keep the law of Moses or not thank you
Based on Rom 6:14, members of the body of Christ are not under the law. Hope this helps.
Jesus did the hard part: his death, shedding his blood, was burried and was raised to life again. Our part is to believe what he did was enough. Just to believe what he says. I'd love to believe you, but what about Romans 11: 22. It strongly seems to suggest even the believing can be cut off.
Rom 11:22 does not suggest that the believing can be cut off. The believing are sealed by the Holy Spirit unto the day of redemption (Eph 1:13-14, 4:30).

@Matthew Brown Keep listening and let us know how we can help. Grace.
Repent, be baptised, receive the Holy Spirit, walk in Christ. That is how to get saved and how to stay saved. Nothing short of that will work!
I assume you are having fun and just joking with you salvation requirements.
