Yes! That's so important if you have a large food pantry.
Like the idea of the pest spray that will work on the intruders too. Haven't heard that one. Great Job keeping us aware and thinking out of the box.

Yes, it's a great alternative. Just be sure to give it a spray every once in a while to make sure it's not clogged. I keep one by the door, too. 😉
Apparently, I need to stock more zipties. I have no clue where my husband puts them all. Lol. But to be fair, we go through them at times, when we ziptie our storage totes. And I keep some of my extra items separated in shoe/sweater boxes and label them, with what's inside.
Yes, zip ties are very handy!

I’m stocked here at home but I’m leaving if the shtf to my off grid cabin I’m taking all the food from here to there the cabin is stocked too it’s got solar powered and water catches and fire wood and 500 gallons of propane it’s way way off grid and we have protection if you know what I mean lol with the mres and cans and food buckets were good for awhile plus we have all kinds of wild game and fishing is good too so I’ve been a 7:42 busy bee lol !!
That's great! We're hoping to get a place going some day before it's too late.
My thoughts are water is the most important! We can not live more than 3 days without it. What i have done is i had an old fashioned hand pump installed. Fortunately, I live in Amish country. The total for this was 800.00 but I now no longer need to rotate those heavy totes of water, and no longer have that stress of worrying if I have enough.

Great ideas Lou Anne. Always enjoy your videos. I still need to get more stuff for water purification and hygiene. Just finished getting my prescription medications. Theyre expensive so its taken a long time to get even just a month of them put back.

Yes, it can be tricky with prescription meds. It's hard to get ahead on those.

I'm obsessed with Goose Creek candles, how many candles should I stock up on? Is there a limit i should only have?
I don't think there's a limit, but during a power outage, you will light several at one time. It might be best to go with unscented so there aren't too many mixed smells.
I like the idea of the door stops and wasp spray.
Your list is great. It made me realize that I need to inventory and probably beef up my PPE. I'm sure the hand sanitizer from 2020 needs to be replaced.

Unfortunately, everyone Does NOT have the ability to grow food because not everyone has a balcony or land of any size. I know I'm not the only one who lives in a cold, damp, dark basement apartment. None of my plants from my previous apartment survived these conditions, not even my 21 year old croton bush (I'm in the northeast). I gave my croton to my sister who has a sunny window area and it is thriving.
A small aerogarden would help with that. There's always community gardens where they rent out garden plots too. When I lived in the city with no place to grow and next to no money a friend let me put some containers (I had 4 if memory serves) to grow stuff in her yard. To thank her I helped her with some of her garden chores. Win win

You're correct. We take nothing with us when we die. I prepare for the hard times we may face while still alive. I view this as a loving and necessary responsibility to my family.

I'm sorry I don't mean to degrade you, but you are so much in need of some studying on these things you're talking about you don't even know where you're going to get your water honey there isn't going to be any water to get it's coming out of a faucet or a hose or a fire hydrant or anything like that. Please go back and re evaluate
That's why you stock up now while water is available. Purchase water, purifying tablets, and other means of purifying dirty water. Please share your knowledge on the subject.
