    I can so relate to your excitement about nature. I’m in awe everyday of where I live in the forest. I walk out my cottage door every morning and look around like I’ve never seen it all before coz everyday is a new day and the landscape is so beautiful and it’s constantly changing.

    Yes, I did enjoy it. It is all looking beautiful, particularly the red campion. And I do agree with you that we are lucky to find delight in nature and wild things. I just wish there were more of us. Thanks for a lovely video.

    Absolutely gorgeous garden! As a gardener too spring and then fall are my favorite seasons. Mother Nature is the most wonderful painter 🥰🥰

    Native flowers are just so beautiful. So lovely to see how May has blossomed in your garden and that I share many of the native flowers listed at the end in my garden too. May and june are the swooning months in the garden. Thank you. 😊💚

    We live in the south of Portugal. The wildlife here is extremelly agressive. We have wild mauves that can have the height of two meters long!. We have cloves that make tones of spiky seeds, and they get stuck in our clothes and in our dog's paws. We have grains that create seeds that look like sharp needles, and have roots deeper than hell. Our wildlife is beautiful, but it's unlivable. We bought a house with a patch of good land. For the last month we have been cleaning the area and creating pathways. We don't intend to destroy the wildlife there, but it will have to be tightly controlled. Love your videos and your garden, keep up with the good work!

    Your garden is just so lovely, and birdsong is wonderful. Makes me want yo string a hammock for a glorious nap in the shade amongst the song and the scent. Have a blessed week.

    There’s something so romantic and so peaceful about a lovely wildflower garden! Definitely a huge change in growth and beauty since the last video! I’m so glad I bought the book over a month ago and have learned about so many new flowers! Glad to see them growing in your garden. As I write this, I’m buried deep in strawberries cutting them up quickly. I have a little critter that takes a bite out of some and moves on to the next berry. I don’t know why he doesn’t eat the whole thing!😂 Thank you for sharing your garden and always look forward to a new video. Happy gardening!🌹

    I love that you give space to germander speedwell, despite some people dismissing it as a "weed" that needs to be removed. It's beautiful!! 💜

    • @cerridwencottagediary9194
      @cerridwencottagediary9194  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes it's bizarre that we see a weed as a wild plant that is very successful and therefore must be eradicated rather than a great,stunning plant to put in a difficult spot where other things won't grow well. x

      @@cerridwencottagediary9194 Croeso! I'm in lovely Mid Wales. Not too far from the coast. We moved here a few years ago from being a bit closer to the coast and it's noticeable that we're a few weeks behind with a shorter growing period. But we really love it here!

Let's just say I'm not too far away from a fairly recent National Eisteddfod town. Have you had a peek at my channel? Perhaps we could do some kind of collaboration!

    The birdsong is lovely. Here in Australia we are just about to go into winter. As an aside, do you know if the new tips of Dutch Iris get nibbled will they flower?

    • @cerridwencottagediary9194
      @cerridwencottagediary9194  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you. I hope our garden will give you a taste of a British summer while you are in your chillier months. My iris also got munched this year but unfortunately didn't flower. It will probably depend on how badly as to whether they can recover enough to flower. Figers crossed!
