I like how he actually feels and sounds like a different person each time he speaks a diff language
That's what you have to do when speaking a different language, it's like you're playing a character from that country. I'm English but learnt Spanish whilst living in Spain and, honestly, people understood me better when I was wearing my matador outfit.
Quote
@@MrChrisbwee as a italian-moroccan I can only agree with you. When I speak arabic I act and think like a real arab, but when speak italian you can see that I'm an 100% italian (also with hand gesture 🤌🤌🤣). And when I want to speak very seriously I speak German because they're very serious 😤. It's natural for a poliglot person to change the personality depending on the language he is speaking
That always happens. Any language has its own sound. I have a different "voice" when I speak Spanish or Italian.
I speak Thai, English and a bit of Dutch. And I'm a totally different person when I speak English😂 more confident and I don't mind speaking my thoughts. Whereas I sound timid but also annoyed when I speak Thai and my body language is very different 😂 I also speak in totally different pitch for each language

His hands automatically started to move when he started speaking Italian. What a language and what a legend.
That was Spanish. Italian is after, no hands there lol. His hands moved when he spoke Spanish because it's his native tongue(also Catalan)
@@r34dyplayerone91 true 😂😂😂
🤌🤌🤌
🤣🤣🤣 he does speak italian very very fluently, with a touch of spanish accent. He can articulate anything , from football to astrophysics to philosophy
Of course, 90% of Italian communication is gesture, the remaining 10% is - maybe - spoken.
The fact some think having an accent means someone doesn't speak well is the main sign they only speak one language
This is a common french way of thinking
And some think it's bad to study accents .
@@freedomgoddess lmao
Depends on how bad the accent is. His is not bad.
Agree - his English was great. Command of vocabulary was impressive and his accent didn’t detract from understanding him.

He speaks German a lot better now, that was his first press conference with Bayern and he has improved his level.. His Italian was perfect! His English level is really good too, obviously he has a strong accent but he speaks well.
snob worthy so, are you italian or german?
His English especially now is exceptionally good for a non native speaker. I am impressed by his broad range of vocabulary at times for a non native speaker using very technical words at times.
No Bad I’ve always found it interesting how native speakers get used to a style of speak regarding vocabulary, especially in subregions of their respective countries. I’ve often hear my foreign friends use English words I wouldn’t think to use because they’re not bound to a set style or haven’t spoken the language since childhood. Languages can be so rich, but when you’re so comfortable with it and it serves its purpose (communicate something), you don’t think to use the full canon of the vocabulary.
His German was very difficult to understand in this one, glad to hear it’s improved
@@humanbeing5546 Also es war langsam, aber schwer zu verstehen fand ich es nicht🤔
His italian is not perfect, he doesn't use the hands
😂🤣
🤌🏼🇮🇹🍕
actually italians don't use gestures much in press conference. That's mostly a confidential and emphasized way to speak
😂😂
He actually uses his hands at 1:44

Hahahaha
who needs to study all these trivial languages when all can just communicate by English and focus their efforts on something else much more universal, like learning Math, natural science or arts etc.? It's the 21st century, stop crying and accept that English is dominant
@@thonghuynh7962 yes English is dominant that is why more people are native speakers of China and Spanish, just accept they are other Languages than English
@@thonghuynh7962 wooooowwwww that’s just selfish thinking that just because you just speak english(I’m not saying YOU, Bc u might speak two or more languages) everyone else have to speak English for you, I mean... dawg there are at least a thousand different languages worldwide, and Chinese and Spanish are the two most spoken languages worldwide, so, no, everyone in this world don’t have to learn English so you understand what they are saying, YOU need to learn something else more than English... you know, be less close minded and open up to new languages, me, well, I am bilingual, and would love to learn another 5 languages if I had the chance so I am not speaking from a selfish point of view, I’m telling you because I know how it feels know that I can speak with people in English as much as in Spanish...

Spanish, Catalan and Italian seem to come natural to him. German and English are hard work to speak
English not really
@@gonzalod.j.8967 ye cause of some pronunciation differences. spanish is soft and gentle while english is the opposite
Guardiola is from Catalonia, so I imagine his parents and grandparents spoke to him in Catalan. Plus they're all Romance languages, so there's a fluid interchange. It's hard to make an adjustment then, to Germanic languages like English and German.
@@gonzalod.j.8967 English is definitely one of the easiest languages in the world...
