I only recently got into breakcore. I have ADHD and some days my brain struggles to get enough stim, even through music. I found that this genre gives my mind enough clicks and taps via the drums/hats but has enough instrumental in the pads and synths to keep me from getting overwhelmed. It’s really nice, actually. An unusual but calming mix of too much and just enough.
and to be clear im not trying to be a snob or whatever, but i relate to op and i want this next generation to understand and appreciate the roots of this music and where it comes from. this sound is jungle. look up like, intelligent drum & bass or atmospheric jungle and youll understand what im getting at. if you want breakcore look up artists like venetian snares, ladyscraper or kid606. most of them also touch on more ambient and relaxing sounds as well as the fast, chaotic, chopped breaks
25:35 I tabbed back to youtube pretty fast, was not at all expecting to hear a mushishi op here! best part about these playlists is finding more music that I like, I'll eventually have my own playlist after I collect my favourite songs from seperate playlists
omg! I have been a bit down because the artist (Sewerslvt) I loved stop making music, BUT now I'm so happy to find another artist who does more Breakcore music that I enjoy. Thank you Iwakura for making wonderful breakcore music!❤
Thank you for the mix, and your own music as well. Emotion 0.1 and Leave me have to be two of my favourite breakcore songs, and I fell in love with them instantly, and I hope you gain the recognition you deserve, and keep pushing out more bangers. I love the glitch/trance elements you bring in on some songs, and I think your style just has this interesting edge to it. I feel the post-Sewerslvt breakcore scene must be pretty rough, with everyone and their dog comparing works to hers, but you absolutely stand out to me at the very least!
starting off a breakcore playlist with a Sewerslvt song is always a treat! "inpeace" is a great song and the rest of these songs are awesome as well! i heard some of YOUR work and i'm impressed! please keep making music cuz i need this in my life tbh! thanks for what you do!
the melodies are really soft, the music feels really organic. unlike classic drum n bass music, the use of "ethereal" sounds participates a lot too, in making this type of vibes. also, on a more technical pov, breakcore songs feel a lot like homemade stuff, (without professional mixing, or this type of stuff), and it gives us the feel that the music is made with the heart
Amazing songs to die to, but you will change your mind because you want to keep listening to dnb's beautiful, modern rebirth. Enough to make a grown man cry 😪🤧
If I ever die in a horrible street bike accident, I pray to God that modern drum and bass, specifically sewerslvt or someone else magical, are the ones that continue playing in my helmet and carry me to the next plane of existence or carry me into nothingness.
@@senseiii3986 You're not "carried into nothingness", you cease to exist. There is nothing that experiences death, because death doesn't exist from the perspective of consciousness.
I'm literally so obsessed with breakcore I wanna make my own music and post it here but I literally have no idea how to make music like this (or make music at all)
Optional: Have fun and tag it with #breakcore so you get lots of comments of "angy snob pricks that take slight mistakes on labeling edm subgenres like you just insulted their grandmothers" and boost the algorithm so your music gets more recognition.
Mentally I'm here. Physically? I'm speeding on the highway without looking at the lines in the road. Instead feeling the bumpies in the side telling me I've drifted too far off
Technically, when you fall asleep and wakeup your previous self is non-existent and now a new slightly different you is in the body. So it's appropriate to listen to this before bed GN everyone 🤗😴
The anime aesthetics used in this genre of music heavily reminds me of the golden era of nightcore music. It's strangely nostalgic, every time I listen to one of these songs I have to remind myself that it's not nightcore.
This being recommended to me when I am having a sleep deprivation depressed night feels like a metaphorical answer to the meaning of the saying "when you look into the void, the void looks back"
I have now Spotify playlist with similar music, you should check it out.

What about a TH-cam(-Music) playlist?

As someone with ADHD I can relate. I find that some math-rock drummers also do it for me, especially the drummer in a band called toe.
this is jungle not breakcore
@@heniac some of the songs maybe but the video has breakcore in its name
@@AtaIarion lol oops didnt read the title... do some homework on what breakcore is. i could call my honda an aston martin but its still a honda

These comments on every breakcore mix always crack me up 😂. They can’t tell the difference but always think they’re the authority on music 💀

Your songs are straight BANGERS, not just your playlist, YOUR songs
Love the fact that the picture is Kuroyukihime from Accel World. I miss that series

Great playlist, thanks for making it!
Also I wonder how it is such high energy and high tempo music can be so calming? well for me it is.
