I think that Lego missed opportunity to bring whole Lightsaber collection to sell. They could sell one lightsaber handle every season - Luke, Vader, Yoda and one million other Jedis...

You said the lightsaber was selling on ebay for $100 and I was like... no way, I know star wars fans are crazy but thats such a basic build, and usually GWPs only go for MAYBE double the price... looked it up and recent listings have sold between $120 and $175. What a freaking joke!!!

Remember when The LEGO Group had so much faith in their own original properties, that they could release a $30 set that had over 400 pieces, all because they believed that a piece of tie-in media can help pay for the budget?

I think I'm only getting the classic Batmobile. Although I think the model is severely lacking in the features department. But the challenge will be to add steering and an engine bay with opening bonnet. But only once it gets to around 100 euro.

The thumbnail says it all. The Lego of my childhood no longer exists.
I remember the days when the logos I was seeing were like: city, power miners, Atlantis, Aqua raiders, agents, mars mission, castle, creator expert, bionicle etc. so many little lego OG concepts. I understand that time moves and markets change but I have to admit, I do miss it.

I feel like _LEGO Dimensions_ really does showcase that unfortunate shift towards licensed products.
Only four original LEGO themes even were represented in that game, with _LEGO City_ only being represented at the end of the game's lifespan because Traveler's Tales had the _LEGO City Undercover_ remaster to advertise.
In fact, The LEGO Group still had a treasure trove of original franchises back in 2015-2017: _Ultra Agents, Nexo Knights, Friends, Elves, Mixels,_ and _BIONICLE!_ And none of them were represented.
I just wonder if _LEGO City Undercover_ underperforming because it was sandwiched between _LEGO Batman 2_ and _LEGO Marvel Superheroes_ made the team at Traveler's Tales believe that the general audience of gamers don't care for original LEGO properties, and they just want licensed stuff they know of like _Star Wars_ and _Harry Potter._ Not helping was the sheer amount of one-off franchises represented in _LEGO Dimensions_ like _The A-Team_ or _Beetlejuice,_ with so many of them not getting anything else beyond the game's sets.

Yeah that sail barge is 650$ in Canada which is about 2 times what I’m willing to pay. I could maybe get behind it if they lowered it by 200$ and at least then I could justify it by using insider points but that price is absolutely insane.
If the sail barge was $350… I’d save up. $400? I’d wait a little and maybe save up…
$500… I’ll never even look at the pictures or anything for it again.

I can't help but say that UCS Shadow the Hedgehog bust is both a rushed product to cash in on SEGA's Year of Shadow the Hedgehog campaign, and that it highlights the limitations of the brick in a bad way, which just makes me miss CCBS all the more.
Knowing that Jang was once an expert at CCBS builds, I just wonder what that Shadow bust would even look like if it used CCBS parts? Surely, the shape of his quills would feel a lot more organic compared to using wedge pieces.
I'll buy the sail barge once $100 has been struck off by sales

Most likely getting Jabba's Sail Barge (rip) since I sold my older one back in 2017. I don't have an official lightsaber and scalpers are continuingly holding us SW fans ransom although Lego could help us out by making this stuff readily available.. A Halloween & Brickheadz gwp is also nice.
I preordered the Fortnite bus for my son for Christmas. The Santa mail room set looks pretty cool and I may get that for a Christmas decoration.

I'll definitely get the little $20 Minecraft set. Probably one of the best value sets out there.

The sad thing about the thumbnail is that none of those themes are based on Lego IP; seems like a lack of creativity at TLG.

Lego Fortnite sets are a must for me personally. Reasonably priced, and with brand new pieces and prints out the wazoo.

Considering that we have one now for ‘66, ‘89, and the Dark Knight trilogy, I’m really hoping for a large-scale model of The Batman’s batmobile - my personal favourite, and one I would buy. The only other major movie one would be the one from the DCEU but I don’t think it’s popular enough to warrant a set.
I like the closed cockpit on the drop ship too, but it's a bit...stubby. I get it's a double pack, but it's just a tad short for me. That being said, I think it'll be a great MOC if you mash a few together.
Probably the cheapest ones, I mean polybags and maybe one 10$ set. Money is tight but I seeing your reviews always brings me joy.
Too bad the Bat mobile didn’t include virtual pivot steering like the 89 Batmobile. I know it’s just a shelf queen but it would be more fun to build. It feels like Lego took a step back on this one.
Do you have a video talking about why you’re not on the lego list? It sounds like it’s your choice, I’m just curious why someone who makes such consistently good lego content isn’t on their team.
In my country, the import tax is ridiculous, so I will wait until the battle bus goes "on sale" aka at MSRP

A simple stand of Mario and Yoshi selling for like 130 dollars? That seems... too much. Also that Shadow the Hedgehog head is just crazy.
@ginyutiki I don't think the Mario and Yoshi is too bad because it's 1215 pieces and it also moves, so it's not just a static pixel art. But yeah, that Shadow set is terrible
i havent even looked at the price for the shadow set, its so ugly i wouldnt buy it at 5 bucks

I'd really like to support using the link, but sadly many can't buy directly from the Lego page, also not being able to get any GWP, that's why I really liked they made the Santa's delivery truck as a separate set. Will be waiting for the next reviews!

I do love that Batmobile, but all my other Batmobiles are minifig scale, including a '66 one, so I think I'm just gonna stick with that approach. I will be getting the Disney 100 (simplest way to get all those figures) and probably the Mario/Yoshi, but that's all that's standing out to me this month.
ROTJ is my favorite movie, and I have always wanted a set with Jabba. Therefore, I will be getting the Sail Barge at some point in the future (definitely not day 1).
Fortnite battle bus, me and my friends only have consecutive Fortnite sessions every few months, but the bus in Lego form just looks cool.
I might be the only person actually excited for the Wednesday brick headz, and I’m ok with that
When I saw the light saber I initially thought it was a space ship in a new setting and was excited. Oh well, if I ever got it that's what it'd be :)
The drop ship looks like a brick built Death Star gunner looking for coins under their couch. Joke aside I like the look of the set, especially the rebel speeder's profile, reminds me of the old Kenner mini rigs.
Also would like to know if someone every buys two of those banana things just to make a full skeleton
