I have the 2022 Candy Blue Grom . Love it and I've rode big bikes only until I bought this Grom. Side note I'm in my mid 60s and still blasting down the road wide open .
Very good video. Good information. You talked me into it. I just went over to Honda dealer and bought one. I love the bike. Thank you for the great information.
When you close the gas tank lid, DON'T touch the key. Simply push the lid closed, and it'll automatically click to lock and turn the key for you by design.
Great video Do these have running lights ( front indicators) Also best place to get a belly pan - any ideas. Like you said 2023 parts a little hard to find. Much appreciated.
They do have running lights! Along with indicators. I'm actually working with Kemimoto, here's the link to a frame slider (I can't really find belly pans) www.amazon.com/dp/B0BTHF3L36
Hey good job but I have to ask.... At the start of your video... Do you like your helmet? If the answer is yes why would you put it on the seat where it can be knocked off and damaged forcing you to go buy a new one... (AND yes if you drop your helmet from waist height onto bitumen, concrete or gravel, you need to replace it as it has done its job of protecting your head, even if your head wasnt in it at the time).
Brake reservoir is that thingy for the brake and don't be deceived in that a loud bike can be heard by a car. What people are cruising without the radio on? Loudness doesn't matter just to clarify. Hassle to get the seat back on? Lmao
You have a serious issue if you consider those tyres to be great. Hopefully you won't contribute to the road maintenance with your skin. Being a new inexperienced rider, it becomes even more important to have good tyres for that time you phukc up, and you will phukc up, and the tyres give you room to wiggle. Those Vee-ruber are a death trap.
@@spenceledsman Doesn't matter. It's not the age of the tyre, is the lack of quality. If you ride in the rain, you'll have a really hard time. Braking, the rear will want to overtake the front. Wet patches of road are enough for you to crash if you are not very careful. I have two MSX's, have experience with both the Vee-ruber and IRC. Both are utter 💩. Burnout the crap out of those tyres and go for Pirelli or Bridgestone. Don't cheap out (SL26), it's your skin on the line. Avoid Metzeler (to have grip you need to almost melt it, great after that), Michelin (not horrible, I've had a bloke crash in front of me braking to turn, front tyre slipped, on the track), Continental (almost as bad as the factory tyres), I'm only talking about tyres I have ridden with. There are endless options. Don't even look at Chinese or curry crap, you'll regret it.
@@spenceledsman I'm using Pirelli Diablo Rosso in the front. Fantastic tyre. For a new rider I can't recommend that tyre. It's too aggressive, the feeling of dropping the front will scare the 💩 out of you, and may even lead you to crash. You're probably better served with the Bridgestone Battlax in the front.

The sound is 100% accurate.
Dude that’s dope your in utah to, im planning on getting a grom soon I’m super stoked
Let's go! Keep us updated when you pick one up!
My fiance and I are going to be getting one each this summer!
Sweet I’m stoked for you guys! You’re gonna love it👏🏼
Should I buy one
YES
May I ask you something? What's the difference between 2021, 22 and the new 2023? Is there anything different than the color? :)
I believe they skipped making one in 2021, so the third gen is the same for 22 and 23!
5speed trans
And they have a longer stroke than previous models which gives them a little more torque. Plus they have LED lights all the way around
When my Grom shut down because of my kickstand I was so mad. I thought I bought a 🍋.
What was you're walk out the door cost? I talked it down to 4500.00 complete. Is that too much?
That’s not too bad. I paid 3,500 but that was from a private seller. Normally dealers charge 5,300 for brand new so that’s not a bad deal!
sometimes we downgrade in life young man , 57 and it looks comfortable.

Fair point! I learned just a few days ago that the grom has a spot to carry the helmet, so I won’t be doing that again🤣 thanks for looking out for me!
Review yang bagus, 🙏
nice red color, I got the black color just recently

More videos please
I'm 6 3 would I be too tall to ride it comfortably?
It won’t be the most comfortable, but there’s plenty of room on the bike to move around so I say it’s definitely worth it!!
@Spence Ledsman I saw the max speed of 55 and I was like time to look for a different bike
@@CursedWarrior100 that’s fair😂 definitely not a fast bike that’s forsure! Still fun tho:)

Help me understand how they’re bad? They’re practically brand new from factory

Nice intro
I want to get grom soon. Either that or 🐒 the grom
Do it!!
It would have been a decent review if you would have left off that crappy music
Would have been a decent opinion if your name wasn’t “Bill”
