I remember watching bullwinkle in the morning before school and I think these were part of the show at the time, just had enough time to watch it before heading off or I would be late. I remember thinking back then how kind of grown up it was for a kids show! Very clever dialogue/script.
TCM is another gem that plays many ancient movies where I have seen the narrator, Edward Everett Horton in his prime as an actor. Just hilarious hearing that voice and yelling out "Hey thats the Fractured Fairy Tail guy"!
It somewhat reminds me of my carefree(ish) childhood, memories long lost and forgotten. Nevertheless, it brings me a little joy - and for that I thank you.
This is wonderful. I wish somebody would post entire half hours of Rocky and his friends or the Bullwinkle show, in the same way that we now have “Tennessee tuxedo and his tales“ or “the underdog show“, just so people could know how these were actually broadcast originally. I could use a marathon like that.
I suspect the copyright holder, Jay Ward Productions, is protective of their product, whereupon the showing of a 5 minute clip is OK, but the showing a half-hour show is a 'no-no,' as it could take away revenues from video sales/paid streaming. I used to post videos of vintage TV shows, and they'd either get: monetized by the copyright holder(s), or 'blocked' or taken-down [with a copyright strike] by TH-cam at the request of the copyright holder(s). For the millions of videos posted on TH-cam, I can imagine there have been attempts by some to post entire shows, only to have them blocked or taken-down by TH-cam at the request of the copyright holder(s). Notice the Ads that comes on prior to the running of the video clips? That hints of the copyright holder monetizing the video.
Haven't seen these fractured tales since I was a lot younger and uh, oh, dear me, what was I going to say. Thanks for sharing. Joe S. Oh yeah, love that little fairy at the beginning and the book, a treasured beginning.
@@pammilner7161 now you know and June did ALL the female voices except if it had a slight male twang that was writer and the voice of Bullwinkle Bill Scott he also wrote some Warner bros. cartoons.
I remember these from when I was a kid. It’s maybe 50 years later. I’m still a kid😹😹😹😻😽
Beautiful ! I'm still a child at heart too. Still always learning.
And they both lived happily- oh, you know! The thing!

Love them growing up

I've seen Mr Horton in a Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers movie on TCM and I had the same reaction as soon as I heard him speak! 😊

One good thing about a forgetful king. He will laugh at the same joke no matter how often you tell it.
My favorite kind of friend! 😂
I really appreciate you posting all these cartoons. I love "Fractured Fairy Tales"!
You're very welcome, hope these stay up for eternity for all to enjoy.
Yeah Thanks! Real cool!
I have never heard of these before.I really enjoy them.

The 'Retro Bites' channel has some full episodes of Rocky & Bullwinkle posted.
@@Lucius1958 where would I find this channel?
[in a fit of laughter!] I just can't get over how June Foray did those female voices, as they are all distinctly different.
She really was a versatile talent.

Daws Butler as the King and June Foray as the blue fairy doesn't get any better than this.
Daws....I had no idea. Wonderful.

@@pammilner7161 Yeah, you can hear a bit of Yogi in there, just without the Art Carney influence.

No voice credits on a lot of these
It's a shame you can't say that opening line about most people in power.
👍
Time machine
But did he ever return to his kingdom and what happened to the freed princess? I think they all. . . forgot to tell!
And like so many couples, in no time at all they forgot why they got married.
My ex used to tell me this 😅
These shorts are so wonderfully silly!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
