I only saw this episode once as a kid when my NBC affiliate was broadcasting these on weekday afternoons. These were on the Rocky Show episodes that were rarely shown in syndication, as compared to the Bullwinkle Show. That unforgettable ending stuck with me for decades, but I didn't have a chance of seeing it until Nickelodeon started broadcasting the cartoons from both series in the mid-90's.
I was surprised to find out this was a real, genuine fairy tale. I thought they had just made it up.
"Bye, write if ya get rich"..... LOL
I'm positive I enjoy these fractured tales now as I did when they first came out. Thanks for the post. Joe S

The power of positive thinking. I love it!
Power of potsitive pinking
This one never gets old.
It really cracks me up everytime the little man kicks the giant in the introduction. 😅
June gave Felicia a Brooklyn accent.
What happened to her hair @0:50?
I know, right? She was bald in the front for a second!😂😯
Who was the voice of the woodcutter? He sounds like an energetic Droopy.
I believe iy's Bill Scott, who was also the voice of Dudley Do-right and Bullwinkle and chief writer of these cartoons.
Watch these while high on pot!
Kinda unnecessary since the show itself is great!
Read this book some time back titled The Power of Subconscious Mind by Joseph Murphy. Can relate.
So the guy stole from his sister and was rewarded with gold eggs and happiness? What kind of moral is that Mr. Horton. hmm? hmm?
So, did they write?
