Great video! Haven't updated / added any new manufacturers since I bought it in 2019, this was far easier than following their instructions!

I would have liked to have bought the top of the range one, it has all the cars listed then, but mines been fine for everyday use so far.
@@GrooveOn thanks a million. Mine is fine too, saved me a lot of money. But the poor thing only recognizes 4 of the 6 injectors my 2004 e320 cdi has.

I only had it recently, a few months ago.
I have to buy 2 end lease cars. I always just leased a car in my family. BOth myself and wife have for work/biz. We want to check them before we buy tthem. They are both worth more than the buyback. No inventory and we want to wait out 6-9 months. Which obd scanner do you recommend for a 2018 porche macan and 2018 jag fpace..... The EU Pro looks good. Any recommendations?
The icarsoft Pro covers all cars, I may get this myself and sell my current with 10 cars on. Or Autel I have read are really good
I just buy the cr pro. The 2 time i used it it freezed and go in to upgrade mode, i updated now it wont go out of updgrade mode.
Thanks for making this video. You answered my question which was going to be - can you delete pre-installed manufacturers? I bought mine last year and it came with 10 manufacturers already loaded which is frustrating because I can't pick and choose for other cars i may need to work on. Anyone thinking of buying should take note.

Can anyone confirm the latest version of software for CR 2.0 for mercedes or land rover mine hasn't picked up an update in a few years yet the update software seems to run fine
Hi thanks for that but you show the exact same one I have for Jaguar / Landrover LR V2.0 but you have added more vehicles, you even say there's a little trick most don't know about ???
So if you have bought the dedicated JAL version you probably will find you cannot download more unfortunately. You could try by plugging into pc and follow my link in video on where you download upgrade software.👍. th-cam.com/video/XtEW7cn4TbU/w-d-xo.html
thanks for the video, very informative, i have the land rover jaguar v2 version and was looking at your link for the 10 car version but unfortunately that amazon link does not have that version in stock anymore so i might need to save up for the next up from version 20+ cars at £189.79.pitty or i would have bought the 10 car version already as our family has a wide range and i need more than just the 2 i have. thanks again for your video.

Hi There, there is a USB micro standard cable to connect a computer that should come with it.
Great vid . Just bought a new iCarsoft Professional Multi-System Auto Diagnostic Tool MB V2.0 Compatible for Mercedes-Benz/Sprinter/Smart on Amazon . It only has 34MByte of free space so cannot update the latest Mercedes Benz software , it wants to remove the LOG/RECORD for more space , should I allows this ? tia.

So try un-selecting the languages you do not need, this will save some space, you can also delete some of the older software versions ! let me know how you get on. Also what size of micro-SD card do you have, I have a 4GB card and there is lots of space.
@@GrooveOn Thanks , but the additional languages were deselected by default . I bought a 4G memory SIM, problem sorted.

Sorry for the late reply, it depends on what version of iCarsoft you have, not all version allow you to add other cars unfortunately.
I bought the MB III version a few months ago but have never updated it. Can you tell me if I can still download all 10 cars?

sorry for the late reply, you can un-select the languages you do not need, which I show in my video, also try deleting the older software versions. Let me know how you get on!
I've been searching for your video " How to add extra males to a LR V2.0" but I can't see any ??? I've seen videos from Icarsoft saying it cannot be done, so I assume they got to you ????
If you've bought a multicar Icarsoft you can choose 10+ cars, but if you have just got one brand then unfortunately you can't add more my friend.
In your video your using the exact same model as I have the Jaguar - Landrover V2.0 with added vehicles ???? I assume someone has blocked you from revealing the "little trick" ???? Pity as if ICarsoft had any marketing skills they would sell additional vehicle programs for £20 each and make money instead of telling us to buy a new model... in which case I'd rather go to a different manufacturer just to show Icarsoft they're not very clever !!!!

I know , I have a Mac but will need to test the iCarsoft on it Macs sometimes are just awful to use, so non intuitive I find !
Let’s say you’ve picked 5 cars instead of 10? Can you add the other 5 at a later date? Thanks
I believe so yes, you jut cant change the 10 cars once you have downloaded them

Good video but the one bit you need is not shown. Only help you update the cars you have on your device
Unfortunately once you have updated (if your device allows) then you cannot re-do, so I was unable to show what to do. However to explain, go into the iCarsoft programme on your PC as shown in the video, then go through to the point that you update the software, here you should find the option to download further cars. Remember once you download the cars you cannot change.
Does this mean that once you've updated the original vehicles in the Icarsoft, you can't add additional makes, or does it mean if you add new ones you can't update them ????

My machine isn’t recognising an sd card. The one supplied or another I have. Can’t load anything onto it.
can you see the files on the card with a PC?
@@GrooveOn I can see the files to load them onto the card but it’s saying the memory is 0. One is an off brand sd card I’ve never heard of and the other is a scan disk neither are registering.
@@ewanwilson3028 So was the icarsoft working when you bought it? As all the files should have been preloaded on SD card and you shouldn't need to touch it
@@GrooveOn doesn’t look like anything is preloaded as it’s saying memory is 0. When I select the manufacturers I want to install and click download it says please insert a card or machine is not recognising one. I’m going to call the place I bought it from.
I'm guessing they don't update files for Macs?!
Hi There, I have a Mac, its not the software that Mac uses to update, its on the iCarsoft unit itself mate, its the software version for your car

You will not know if there is an update just using the hand held device, however once you plug into a computer with the upgrade tool, it will advise you mate.

Okay, there is lots of functions you can do with icarsoft
When you bought the icarsoft, was it for a different car make? only some of the icarsoft you can choose up to 10+ cars but not all

@@emanemanuel1 you can try plugging into computer to see if you have option for other cars, but you may be locked into just one car Renault
most people have mac not windows.

I am not sure, I haven't heard they have stopped the updates. Did you buy a unit that allowed adding other makes? If not then it's not possible to add if you have bought the single version
