I know you're probably being a bit satirical, but your brother has the right to think that Blue Lock is his personal second best anime, just like someone has the right to think that Alfredo pasta is the best food in the world. There is no objective proof to prove that anything is better than another thing when it comes to opinionated subjects. Maybe the issue is just the way we convey our opinions as facts of the world that apply to everyone else. Also, in my opinion there's really no reason to keep a catalog of what's the best in your mind. Just enjoy what you're enjoying now.

Lol the ‘bluelock is a weird anime’ is funny to me
in my case as an music artist reaching goal is not even close to being as important as having fun creating, shooting music videos, promoting myself and presenting my ideas to people. You should have fun in the process, and i would say that people who give up are those who focus too much on a goal (for example they anticipated goal to happen faster) and frustration purges all the fun. edit: after having second thought i would say every small step in my life towards being better was a goal to me, like creating discipline to go to the gym, discipline to approach girls i like, discipline to finish music projects, discipline to study japanese in my 9-5 office job xD haha
Yeah having fun is important but if it's not your primary goal then it shouldn't be the thing you focus on the most

Well I guess the best series depends on the Genre you are choosing c it is o hard to just decide one. For me number One is One Piece, but after that is just basically the number one of each genre. Like in Mystery it's Conan, in Adventure it's Hunter x Hunter, in sports it might even be Blue lock. And did you guys watched " Welcome to the demon world! Iruma-kun"? This is one of the best Isekais I guess. There are sooo many great Anime out there that I suppose it's just natural that people just say the Anime they have watched just recently must be one of the best (if its good)
Also I know there are plenty more worthy Anime but I guess I just don't wanna type them all out and think about it now. it is very hard
