    This is the exact model LG Refrigerator we have. This was great information and it worked. The problem we have now is that the adjustment nut is now stripped.... :-(

      It’s stripped because it’s too difficult to turn. You should not have to adjust the doors on any refrigerator. Completely ridiculous.

    Thank you so much. I was sure it was the doors but indeed it was the whole fridge that needed leveling, so much easier! Now to see if it cools and makes ice, just plugged it in!

    the door adjustment nut did absolutely nothing noticeable. Doors are off alignment and both nuts turned very little, did not help. and no, calling your CS did not help, they just told me that "it's supposed to work", not helpful at all

    We just bought an LRFXC2416S french door fridge. I need to adjust the door on the right side facing the unit. There is no nut to adjust - as shown in your video. I cannot find anything helpful to level the door. Is there something specific to this unit I am missing?

      Look in the manual regarding this. Some models don't have an adjustment nut on the right and instead, you lift the door to insert snap rings. Mine is like that (LFXS26596S) and includes two snap rings (look in the package with the manual). The manual for your fridge says the same thing. Did you already lower the left door as much as possible?

    Do you adjust the back? Our new refrigerator it tilted to the left.

    I just purchased (November 7, 2020) the LG French door refrigerator and the doors do not line up, even after adjusting the nut on the right door and adding the two factory provided C clips/rings to the lleft door. Adjusting the nut on the right door did very little to raise or lower the door. Adding more of the C clips/rings for the left door may fix the alignment issue, but I'm not sure if it's recommended to add that many C clips/rings to the hinge mechanism.

    in my case, the doors are aligned and level. But the center flap on the left door does not close properly leaving a gap between both the top doors. The small plastic nub on the left door slides just below the channel at the top. Do I raise both the doors or is there anything else that can be done. model is LRFLC2706S 27 cu ft

      Hey there! Let's close this gap from now on. The door might look even, but a small adjustment can make the difference. Here is a video on getting this fix quickly and simply. If you have any questions, please private message us on @LGUSSupport. spr.ly/6051XHEmP ^David

    we bought our fridge in Nov 2023. The doors aren't level and the right door doesn't shut smoothly. Had the installers back to look at it and they said that is how it should look. We did do the above troubleshooting and it didn't move the door at all. what is the next step?

    The adjustment for my left door didn't work. No matter which direction I turn the nut (which the supplied tool doesn't fit very well), it still remains higher than the right door. And I have the cabinet perfectly leveled across the front, and enough tilt so the doors close. Seems to be a very poor door adjusting mechanism for it not to be able to do this.

    • @LGUSASupport
      @LGUSASupport  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey Josh. To adjust your LG fridge, you use a flat-head screwdriver to adjust the leveling screws. Turn the leveling screws clockwise or left to raise that side or counterclockwise or right to lower it. It might take several turns of the leveling screws to adjust the tile. We recommend a tilt to the back, so the doors can close easily. You can use a leveler to make sure the fridge is level. For more questions, private message us on social media @LGUSSupport. We're always here to help. ^David
