I live in the countryside in the United Kingdom so the only things we have are little skateparks. Other than that the roads are so bumpy and the pavements are always busy. I would just love to have a place to cruise with my mates.
just wait until u see roads like in Malaysia. the road are rough and mostly didnt even well maintained ;( i always bring my penny but ended up only using it for short time every time
It's all about the timing. If you're not in school, try going for a cruise when all the kids are at school and while everyone is at work. Sure, there will still be the occasional car here and there, but way less than if you did it at any other time. Also, try finding a parking garage to cruise in late at night when it's empty. Skate at your own risk, not everyone is cool with it lol. Especially multi-level ones they're the best
I tried bombing and _actual_ hill once and my legs starting fucking shaking. I managed to keep my balance, but onlookers thought it was the funniest fucking thing ever.
But all skaters are feeling your fear with you. If they don’t have the courage to do it, their laughter means nothing. I can’t stop well, and I overestimated the runoff in a neighborhood before the high traffic road at the cross intersection. I was this close 🤏🏼 to straight jumping off into a deep ditch when I managed to foot brake to a stop. My freaking out probably looked hilarious, but the “Oh Sh!t” moment is real af.
I wish you like him...sorry for the aside. And that look like fun, perfect territory for running a cruiser. Seems like you have the terrain to just take a step back and realize how awesome a simple cruise is and you can take a breath to just appreciate that. Good stuff, and even if you don't feel for your friend that way..this is going to sound gay but I'm glad y'all can just relax together and appreciate the wonderfulness of an awesome cruise on a sunny day!
