I subscribed to your channel after watching only one video about Dukkah. Made it with some crème fraîche that I made overnight for the first time. OMG! Thank you for sharing!

Can’t wait to make this! My grandparents and father were from Egypt, and we always had this around. My grandparents and dad used to eat it by dipping pieces of pita bread into it. It is definitely a flavor from my childhood. Thank you for this!

I hope you try it soon and that it brings out the childhood memories the way it does for me ❤️

The Mediterranean Dish The only one left to teach this recipe to me the way my family did it is my uncle, and I’m going to see him soon and he said he’ll teach me his version. I think it’s different from yours, but I will try both. I’ll also show him your video. He’s the last of my family that grew up in Egypt. I hope to visit one day!

Dukkah season is so good on roasted pumpkin seeds. Take some seasoning, some roasted seeds and 1 tablespoon of coconut oil and heat all in a skillet stirring continuously for 5 minutes. Soooo good! Great on top of pumpkin or butternut soup.

Made this last week and it is delicious. I put it on hummus and on mashed avocado, it goes on almost anything. A few times just ate a spoonful right from the jar. I love it with the touch of cayenne.

I first tasted dukha on a salmon and egg toast for brunch at a cafe in Australia. I love it! I was so glad i found a good dukkha mix in our supermarket and have been putting in a lot of dishes! It has become a staple in my omelette now. So yummy!!! Could you feature other ways we could use dukkha? Thanks!

I sprinkle it on a lil brick of real parmesan and I also like it on pasta with some garlic and olive oil. I personally prefer this to zaatar...

You are a real inspiration for encouraging our boring palates of the west. Absolutely love your vlog. Though raised in Ireland many moons ago, I believe I was, in a previous life, part of the medi or further east given that I feel so at ease and at home there. Love, love your educational blogs which are much needed. I'll get my coat.

about the coriander and cumin you used a 1 to 1 ratio, i was taught 1 part cumin to 3 to 4 parts coriander. Was i taught incorrectly about balancing cumin and coriander spices?

    Girl , you are amazing
    Love your channel and recipes.
Tukka used to be something that people in the countryside eat with tomatoes , cucumber and bread ...as you said its something they used to make from pantry ingredients which were mainly sesame seeds , peanuts and spices as they were very much available in every house....Will try it though with almonds and hazelnuts
    Fancy tukka🤣
